Kabilang sa mga electric cooperative na nakatanggap ng pag-apruba mula sa komite ang: Don Orestes Romualdez Electric Cooperative (DORELCO), Leyte III Electric Cooperative, Inc. (LEYECO III), Leyte IV Electric Cooperative (LEYECO IV), Leyte V Electric Cooperative, Inc. (LEYECO V), Samar I Electric Cooperative, Inc. (SAMELCO I), Samar II Electric Cooperative (Samelco II), Negros Oriental I Electric Cooperative (NORECO I), Sorsogon I Electric Cooperative (Soreco I) at Cebu I Electric Cooperative (Cebeco I).
Pinangunahan nina APEC Party-List Rep. Sergio Dagooc at PhilRECA Party-List Rep.

Greetings of peace and solidarity to our beloved Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs), our dedicated rural electrification Warriors of Light, and the entire Filipino nation!
As we welcome the month of June, we also mark a significant legislative milestone: the end of the First Regular Session of Congress this week. It has been a challenging yet highly productive session dedicated to championing the rights and welfare of our electricity consumers.
I want to take this opportunity to deeply acknowledge and thank our colleagues in Congress who have joined our voice and stood by our side. Together, we are amplifying the call for the removal of VAT on electricity. This growing, unified front is a testament to our shared commitment to ensuring reliable, accessible, and affordable electricity for all Filipino consumers. Our fight does not end here, and we will continue to push for policies that alleviate the burden on the ordinary Filipino.
As we transition into the middle of the year, we must also prepare for the changing weather. The rainy season is fast approaching. I urge everyone to remain vigilant, prioritize disaster preparedness, and ensure that our households and communities are safe. Let us work closely with our electric cooperatives to report issues and ensure that our power lines and electrical connections are secure against typhoons and heavy rains.
With the new school year about to begin, we look forward to seeing our students return to their studies with renewed energy. It is my earnest hope that, moving forward, an understanding of the energy sector can become an integral part of the curriculum for our youth. By educating the new generation about rural electrification, energy efficiency, and sustainable power, we empower them to become proactive participants in nation-building.
May this month of June bring good luck, abundant blessings, and new opportunities for everyone. Let us face the coming days with unwavering solidarity and hope, knowing that together, we can weather any storm and keep the lights on for our communities.
Mabuhay ang mga Electric Cooperatives at Member-Consumer-Owners!
Sa PhilRECA, Protektado Ka!
