The Film Academy of the Philippines signed two new partnership agreements at SANGGA 2026, bringing legal and health services closer to Filipino film and audiovisual workers.
Through a memorandum of agreement with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Quezon City Chapter, workers can access free legal consultation, rights education, and representation. Meanwhile, the memorandum of understanding with PhilHealth Regional Office NCR grants workers easier access to PhilHealth registration, membership updating, and enrollment in YAKAP, PhilHealth's expanded primary care benefit.
Both agreements reflect the Academy's commitment to building stronger systems of support for the people behind Philippine cinema.
