This page seeks financial help for our daughter Patricia Michaela, who is suffering from SEVERE LARYNGOMALACIA

Laryngomalacia is the most frequent cause of noisy breathing or stridor in infants and children. It is the most common congenital anomaly or birth defect of the voice box or larynx. Laryngomalacia is best described as floppy tissue above the vocal cords. This floppy tissue falls into the airway when the infant breathes in. The cause of laryngomalacia and the reason why the tissue is floppy is unkn

Miracle Report:
One of the paintings Dr. Linda did is called "Baby Patricia". The inspiration was Patricia, a precious baby girl from the Philippines who had an airway . The Dad, Patrick Roy S. Parcia and the Mom, Michelle Chua Parcia reached out to me through VBF because their doctors could not help Patricia. It was affecting her breathing. It was God engineered, but with the help of a wonderful doctor and an amazing company that makes a miracle drug for babies with hemangiomas, we were able to smuggle the medication for Patricia. Dr. Linda was so overwhelmed with her recovery and the gratitude of the family that she had to paint "Baby Patricia" with her trachea but Dr. Linda put a tiny heart where the trach hole is. The painting was finally sent to the Philippines to Patrica and her family. But that's not the end of this miracle story. Patricia's father helped to connect Dr. Linda with a doctor from the Philippines who VBF will sponsor to come to New York City this year and will train to learn how to diagnose and treat vascular birthmarks and be able to help the children of the Philippines affected by a vascular birthmark, anomaly or syndrome! God is so good to continue to allow the miracles that VBF brings to people all over the world! VBF is really making a difference in this world. It is Dr. Linda's responsibility as the President and Founder to be a good steward of every penny donated to VBF! Find something you are passionate about and make a difference.

Very good news! We are now just driving out of hospital. Patricia had her second Laryngoscopy, her doctor, Rene Tuazon said that he was able to pass the scope all through yhe subglottic region without being forceful. This means that her Hemagioma has softened and/or shrunk a bit. 😀

And we are back.

This is Patricia's 4th pneumonia, her last was just this May. This is her worst episode yet and she had to be hospitalized.

Patricia had already began taking antibiotics, started 2 days ago. She had been vomiting frequently 7 times last Saturday and 6 on Sunday. There is also her intense coughing, it was as though her lungs will burst out of hear chest.

Last night she suffered difficulty breathing, shallow and fast. It worsened early in the morning and that was when we decided to rush her to the hospital.

And so here we are, back at the hospital.

Very late post...

First week of this month, Patricia had to undergo a check of her larynx, in the subglottic region.

After almost 5 weeks of taking INDERAL, the mass just lightened a little bit.

That is my wife Michelle really researched for alternatives and replacement for the INDERAL and we found HEMANGEOL a recently approved drug by the FDA in the US.

The Test will be repeated in July.

Please continue praying for Patricia!

Again thank you everyone!

Good day,

Thank you for everyone's support.
I would just like to inform everyone that part of the donations you've given to Baby Patricia Michaela will be used to buy HEMANGEOL, this is a prescription medicine used to treat proliferating (growing) infantile hemangioma that requires treatment with a medicine that spreads throughout the body.

The medicine is not available locally, so we had to order it via GLOBALRX.com.

Below is a pic of my first correspondence with their representative.

P.s.

I couldn't update the page as often as I used to, because I'm back on-board working on a merchant vessel, and it is very hard to get a decent internet signal whilst sailing the high seas.

Please support saab and meelo's 3rd year anniversary this May, thank you.

Hi friends! Meet this adorable little miss, Patricia Michaela Parcia. She's a 5 month old baby who truly brings so much happiness to her family. However, Patricia had a case of severe laryngomalacia (recent development showed that this was healed. Thank God!) But she still has subglottic hemagioma this is a rare disease that causes the blockage of the airway. See that tube on her neck? That helps her to breathe and we are hoping that with your help, she will soon be healed.
It's Saab and Meelo's 3rd anniversary this May, and we are celebrating by coming up with a collection for Patricia. All sales will go to her fund. I hope you can support us.
