On this day of valor, we remember the courage and sacrifice of Filipino soldiers who stood in defense of the nation. As we commemorate the Araw ng Kagitingan, we are called not only to honor the past, but also to carry forward the values of resilience, unity, and service in shaping the future of the Philippines.

For this year’s observance, we feature the solemn image of the Mount Samat National Shrine, a lasting symbol of remembrance and national pride.

Pursuant to Memo No. PAJ 26-05 and UPD Bulletin 2026-004, the UP Asian Center, Library, and Museum will be observing a half-day Work-from-Home arrangement tomorrow, 1 April 2026, from 8 AM to 12 PM only.

From 12 PM on 1 April until 5 April 2026, the UP Asian Center, including its library and offices, will be closed in observance of the Holy Week.

On Monday, 06 April 2025, the Asian Center will continue to observe a Work-from-Home (WFH) arrangement while maintaining regular office hours (8:00 AM–5:00 PM). Regular onsite operations will resume on Tuesday, 07 April 2026.
