These highlights capture moments from the two-day workshop where student organizations came together to learn about archiving practices, ethics and access, digital preservation, and archival planning for their own organizations.

Through conversations, hands-on activities, and shared reflections, participants explored how caring for records is also a way of caring for the histories and communities that shape the University.

Thank you to all the student organizations who joined us and took part in building a culture of documentation and preservation.

Student representatives also began drafting archival plans for their own organizations, turning ideas from the first day into concrete steps toward sustaining their collective histories.

Through collaboration and shared learning, the workshop highlighted how documentation can become an act of careโ€”ensuring that the stories, advocacies, and experiences of student organizations continue to be remembered and passed on.

Thank you to all participants who joined us for both days and contributed to building a culture of archiving within the University.
