The youth of ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ฎ๐ ๐ก๐ฒ๐ ๐ฅ๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐น proudly took part in the recently concluded ๐ ๐๐ป๐ถ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฌ๐ผ๐๐๐ต ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ฝ ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ด๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ (๐ ๐ฌ๐๐) held on ๐๐๐ด๐๐๐ 21โ22, 2026, ๐ฎ๐ ๐ โ๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐ด ๐ฃ๐ถ๐น๐ผ๐ ๐๐น๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ต๐ผ๐ผ๐น.. A total of ๐๐ถ๐
(6) ๐๐ผ๐๐๐ต ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ from Barangay New Rizal joined fellow young leaders from across the municipality in a two-day gathering centered on leadership, personal development, community involvement, and youth empowerment.
One of the highlights of the congress was the series of ๐น๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐น๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ designed to equip young leaders with practical knowledge and skills that they can bring back to their respective communities.
Among the key sessions was โ๐ฌ๐ผ๐๐๐ต ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐ ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ต ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ฝ๐ผ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐", facilitated by ๐๐ผ๐ต๐ป ๐๐ฒ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ ๐. ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ฑ๐ผ, ๐ ๐ฃ๐๐, ๐ฅ๐ฃ๐บ, ๐๐๐ฅ๐, which emphasized the important role of youth leaders in promoting mental health awareness, understanding the experiences of fellow young people, and responding with empathy and responsibility.
The participants also took part in the โ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ท๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ ๐ฃ๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ๐๐ต๐ผ๐ฝ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ปโ facilitated by ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐๐น๐ผ๐๐ฑ ๐๐ป๐๐ผ๐ป ๐ฉ๐ผ๐ป ๐ . ๐๐ผ๐น๐ถ๐๐ฎ, where they learned the fundamentals of developing and presenting meaningful youth-centered projects. The session encouraged participants to transform ideas into practical initiatives that can address the needs of their communities.
Another important learning session was โ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐น๐ถ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ,โ facilitated by ๐๐๐๐. ๐ฅ๐ผ๐๐ถ ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ต ๐ง. ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐บ๐ผ๐, which provided participants with knowledge on proper meeting procedures, deliberation, motions, and decision-makingโessential skills for effective youth leadership and organizational governance.
Beyond the lectures, the MYLC also provided opportunities for team building, fellowship, community engagement, icebreakers, and youth solidarity, allowing participants to build connections and strengthen their confidence as young leaders.
The successful participation of the six youth representatives from Barangay New Rizal reflects the commitment of the community to developing informed, responsible, and empowered young leaders who are ready to contribute to meaningful change.
