Top 4 Regional Level Most Wanted Person of PRO 8 and a non-PSR Listed CTG Member Arrested in Eastern Samar

Oras – On October 16, 2024, personnel from 122SAC, 12th Special Action Battalion and 153SAC, Force Support Battalion of SAF provided tactical support to the 801st Maneuver Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 8 as lead unit during a counterinsurgency operation. Together with other PNP units, they successfully arrested alias Balagon in an operation conducted in Brgy. Agsam Oras, Eastern Samar.

The suspect is ranked as the Top 4 Regional Level Most Wanted Person of PRO 8 and was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest under Criminal Case No. 2023-18 for Murder and CC No. 2023-20 for Robbery both dated February 23, 2023 issued by Regional Trial Court, 8th Judicial Region, Branch 5, Oras, Eastern Samar. He is also a non-PSR listed CTG member under Regional Guerilla Unit, Eastern Visayas Regional Party Committee.

Oras MPS, Eastern Samar PPO took custody of the arrested person for documentation and proper disposition.

Murder Suspect Arrested in Oriental Mindoro

Bansud – On October 16, 2024, personnel from 103SAC, 10th Special Action Battalion provided tactical support to Bansud Municipal Police Station as lead unit during a law enforcement operation. Together with other PNP units, they successfully arrested alias Romel in an operation conducted in Sitio Malamig, Brgy. Salcedo, Bansud, Oriental Mindoro.

The suspect was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest No. CR24-12684 dated October 16, 2024, for Murder, issued by Regional Trial Court, Branch 41, 4th Judicial Region, Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro. Seized from the suspect were one caliber .45 pistol with 10 rounds of am******ons and four magazines.

Bansud MPS took custody of the arrested person and seized items for documentation and proper disposition.

Illegal Fi****ms Suspect Successfully Apprehended in Naga City Buy-Bust Operation

Naga City – On October 16, 2024, personnel from 95SAC, 9th Special Action Battalion of SAF provided tactical support to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Camarines Sur PFU as lead unit during a buy-bust operation. Together with other PNP units, they successfully arrested alias Valdez in an operation conducted in Brgy. Conception Pequeña, Naga City, Camarines Sur.

The operation targeted the suspect for violation of R.A. 10591 (Comprehensive Fi****ms and Am******on Regulation Act). Seized during the operation were one cal. .38 revolver with three rounds of am******on, one genuine one-thousand-peso bill used as buy-bust money, nine pieces of boodle money, and a holster.

CIDG Camarines Sur PFU took custody of the arrested person and seized items for documentation and proper disposition.

The success of the operation highlights the dedication of law enforcement units to upholding the rule of law and protecting citizens from the dangers posed by illegal fi****ms, thereby reducing potential threats to public safety.
