WATCH: DRUG TESTING FOR PERSONNEL AND PDL
Under the leadership of SJO4 Edna M. Iglesia, Acting Municipal Jail Warden, and through the sponsorship of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of San Mateo, Rizal, the unit successfully conducted drug testing for personnel and Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL). The activity was administered by St. John of the Cross Laboratory of San Mateo, Rizal.
The activity aimed to ensure compliance with drug-free facility standards and support the unitโs application for recognition as a Drug-Free Facility. It also underscored the unitโs commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and drug-free custodial environment by promoting discipline, accountability, and adherence to applicable anti-drug policies.
The drug testing yielded negative results for all personnel and PDL tested, demonstrating the unitโs continued commitment to preventing illegal drug use and upholding a drug-free environment. This initiative marks another significant step toward achieving the unitโs goal of securing Drug-Free Facility status and ensuring the safety and well-being of both personnel and PDL.
