In celebration of the opening of the JCI Week 2026, the officers, members, volunteers, partners, sponsors, and supporters of JCI San Fernando Saluyot and JCI San Juan Dalluyon gathered in faith and thanksgiving during the Thanksgiving Mass held last April 19, 2026, at St. William Church from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. 🙏💕

United by one purpose and one grateful heart, the meaningful celebration became a beautiful reminder that every achievement, every opportunity, and every success of the organization is made possible through God’s endless guidance and the unwavering support of the people behind it. 🥰💖

Representing our organization while supporting our mother chapter are President Virwin F. Pimentel and IVP Miguel Andrew S. Aison who wholeheartedly attended and participated alongside fellow youth leaders and Local Youth Development Officials in this inspiring gathering of faith, service, and unity. 🫶💝

Long before it became the thriving “People’s City” we know today, the roots of San Fernando can be traced to the humble coastal settlement of Pindangan—a community shaped by the sea and sustained by the tradition of pindang, the preservation of freshly caught fish. This early way of life reflects the resilience, industry, and unity of the first inhabitants whose efforts laid the foundation of what the city has become today. ☝️💖

In 1786, the town of San Fernando was formally established and named in honor of Ferdinand III of Castile. From its beginnings as a developing settlement, it steadily grew into a center of governance, culture, and progress in La Union—carrying forward the enduring spirit of its origins. 🫶💕

As JJC San Fernando Pindangan, we proudly carry the name Pindangan—a symbol of our deep historical roots and identity. More than a name, it is a reminder of where we came from and a call to continue embodying the values of unity, service, and collective growth. 🤝❣️

Rooted in the vision of building a more inclusive and gender-responsive society, this meaningful initiative by the Provincial Government of La Union served as a dynamic platform for learning, collaboration, and empowerment. Through insightful discussions, shared experiences, and powerful engagements, the symposium highlighted the vital role of young women as leaders, changemakers, and advocates of equality in today’s generation. 💪😘

Representing our organization with pride and purpose were our dedicated officers and members: President Virwin F. Pimentel, LSDD Arnel G.
