𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗔𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗶!

Through CSC Resolution No. 2600596 dated 30 April 2026, the Civil Service Commission grants the Overseas Filipino Workers–Preference Rating (OFW-PR) to qualified OFWs based on length of overseas work or foreign employment and work performance.

Starting with the 9 August 2026 Civil Service Examination, qualified OFWs who obtain a general rating of not lower than 70.00 may be granted additional civil service exam points, subject to CSC guidelines.

𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆?
• OFW who has been engaged, is engaged or to be engaged in renumerated activity abroad, regardless of country of destination, nature of work, salary level or employment status.
• OFW who has been contracted for overseas employment but has yet to leave the Philippines

𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
• Must have rendered an aggregate of at least five years of overseas employment from 1 January 2000 up to the date of application, whether continuous or intermittent; and
• Must have applied and taken the scheduled CSE beginning 9 August 2026 and thereafter, whether through pen-and-paper or other modes, and obtained a failed general rating of not lower than 70.

This initiative recognizes the professionalism, dedication, and sacrifices of our OFWs and opens another pathway for them to continue serving the nation as Lingkod Bayani.

The Civil Service Commission Cordillera Administrative Region (CSC CAR) rolls out its “𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐬” (Rolling Access to Eligibility, Reaching Every Cordilleran) Program. The pilot test involves the grant of Honor Graduate Eligibility to qualified college graduates who earned Latin Honors from CHED-recognized private higher education institutions, state or local colleges/universities and DFA-recognized foreign schools.
“𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐬” is a mobile service delivery initiative involving the release of Certificates of Eligibility (CoEs) across the regions’ provinces directly to individuals who passed the Career Service Examinations or are granted special eligibilities. Through scheduled visits, eligible individuals can conveniently receive their CoEs without travelling to the Regional Office or enduring long waiting periods.
For its pilot test, the CSC CAR will process and issue CoEs to qualified Honor Graduates this May. Qualified applicants are advised to attend a virtual orientation on the requirements and process.

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) will implement a Compressed Workweek Arrangement in its Central, Regional, and Field Offices to conserve energy and reduce operational costs while ensuring continuous public service.

Starting 16 March, CSC offices will be open Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.

We remain committed to serve the public with Puso, Dangal, at Galing.
