The 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐜 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐂𝐖𝐓𝐒) students from the 𝐁𝐒𝐁𝐀 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, led by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧, and the TED Department, led by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐉𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫, in collaboration with the 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 (𝐑𝐂𝐘𝐂) of 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞, led by 𝐄𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐠𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞, and the 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠, led by 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨 𝐄. 𝐀𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐉𝐫.., successfully conducted a “𝐓𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐈𝐕 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬” Seminar on 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟏𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, at 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠, 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞, 𝐎𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐨.

The facilitators hope that everyone will carry in their hearts the inspiring mantra shared by the SK Chairman of Barangay Ambulong: “𝑯𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒊 𝒑𝒂 𝒉𝒖𝒍𝒊 𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝒍𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒕.” Indeed, it is never too late to change our path, to choose responsibility, and to become advocates of awareness. Through awareness, education, and collective action, we can help create a generation that is informed, responsible, and empowered.

Maraming salamat po sa mga mag aaral, g**o at sa punong g**o ng Bagong Sikat Elementary School sa pag tanggap at pag tulong para mairaos ang proyektong ito.

While the drums were beating and the cheers were loud, the 𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜 in collaboration with the 𝐃𝐖𝐂𝐒𝐉 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 were quietly on a different mission — first aid duty mode: 𝐎𝐍. ❤️‍🩹

From 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟏𝟏–𝟏𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, our RCY volunteers were stationed during the parade and activities to make sure everyone stayed safe. With 𝐼𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑔𝑟𝑖𝑡𝑦, 𝑆𝑒𝑟𝑣𝑖𝑐𝑒, and 𝐶𝑜𝑚𝑝𝑒𝑡𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒, they were ready with first aid kits, calm heads, and caring hearts — living out the core values of our institution.

When the Extra Challenge got intense, our team stayed on standby, ready to respond faster than you can say “RCY on duty!”. On the last day, we gave a little boost to the celebration by sharing free water and coffee ☕💧

Guided by the 7 Fundamental Principles of the Red Cross —𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐍𝐞𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲, and 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 — our volunteers showed that service doesn’t need capes or spotlights. Just a heart ready to help. 🚑💙

The 𝐏𝐑𝐂–𝐎𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐨, together with the 𝐃𝐖𝐂𝐒𝐉 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 members from 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥, 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥, and 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞, conducted a 2-day 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 on 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟑𝟎–𝟑𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

Day 1 focused on the history, importance, and purpose of the Red Cross, followed by flag making contest and presentation. Day 2 highlighted team-building activities that created strong bonds among the members, a memorable boodle fight lunch, and the awarding ceremony in the afternoon.

The discussions, activities, and games throughout the two-day YVFC brought laughter, excitement, and a stronger sense of unity among all participants, while also deepening their understanding of the Red Cross principles and the importance of service, teamwork, and volunteerism. Out of almost 120 participants, only 25 successfully graduated, proving their dedication and commitment as Red Cross Youth Volunteers.

Day 1 of the Youth Volunteer Formation Course (YVFC) was packed with learning, teamwork, and a lot of “ahh kaya pala ganun” moments. From discussions to group activities, our RCY members showed energy, participation, and teamwork all throughout the day.

Participants were grouped into teams inspired by the 7 Fundamental Principles of the Red Cross- Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity, and Universality, proving that values plus teamwork really do work.
