A meaningful milestone for our community as we celebrate the Ceremonial Turn Over of our Newly Renovated Birthing Facility a symbol of better healthcare services and a stronger commitment to the well-being of mothers and children.

𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | Session Hall, San Jose, Dinagat Islands
The 13th Sangguniang Bayan of the Municipality of San Jose successfully conducted its 21st Regular Session presided over by Presiding Officer SB Ludwig Ecleo.

Present during the session were Acting Mayor/Vice Mayor Rechard Pasquil, SB Members Clica Antipolo, Julmore Pesito, Papias Tuquib, Renford Ho, SK Federated President Kim Valeri A. Tampon, and members of the legislative body as they tackled significant matters concerning governance, youth development, culture, and environmental concerns within the municipality.

Highlights of the session included the awarding of the SK Awards 2026 for the Month of April, discussions on providing support to local dancers and youth talents, and deliberations regarding Environment Fee concerns and related policy matters for the welfare of the municipality and its constituents.

The Sangguniang Bayan continues to strengthen collaborative governance through responsive legislation and active support for programs that empower the youth, promote culture and tourism, and protect the environment.

The Sangguniang Bayan of San Jose led by Vice Mayor Rechard Pasquil, SB Members Clica Antipolo, Julmore Pesito, Papias Tuquib, Renford Ho, Ludwig Ecleo and SK Federated President Hon. Kim Valeri A. Tampon officially recognizes SANA Cafe as the official coffee partner during meetings, engagements, and special activities.

𝗙𝗦𝗨𝗨 𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗠 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗦 𝗣𝗔𝗬 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗬 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗚𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗕𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡

𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | Tourism interns from Father Saturnino Urios University (FSUU) formally paid a courtesy visit to the Sangguniang Bayan of the Municipality of San Jose as part of their academic immersion and exposure in local governance and tourism development.

The interns were introduced by LGU–San Jose Tourism Officer Paul Mark Bocota and were warmly welcomed by Vice Mayor Rechard Pasquil together with members of the Sangguniang Bayan namely SB Member Clica Antipolo, SB Member Julmore Pesito, SB Member Papias Tuquib, and SK Federated President Hon. Kim Valeri A. Tampon.

During the courtesy visit, Hon. Kim Valeri A. Tampon warmly welcomed the interns and encouraged them to fully enjoy their stay and learning experience in the Municipality of San Jose, especially as the local tourism industry continues to grow and develop.

The visit also served as an opportunity for the interns to gain insights on how the local government collaborates with various sectors in promoting tourism, preserving local identity, and strengthening community-based public service initiatives.

| 150 Monobloc Chairs (SK LEGACY PROJECT)

As part of our commitment to provide better support for community activities and youth programs, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Mahayahay successfully acquired 150 monobloc chairs for public use.

This project aims to assist during barangay events, meetings, seminars, sports activities, and other gatherings that benefit our community. Through proper planning and collective effort, we continue to invest in projects that are practical, sustainable, and beneficial to everyone.

Free of charge if Barangay Mahayahay official events, wake, or other authorized by the SK Chairperson.

𝗦𝗞 𝗞𝗜𝗠𝗠𝗬 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗬 𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗧 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗚𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗢𝗥 𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗬

SK Federation President Hon. Kim Valeri A. Tampon paid a courtesy visit to Governor Nilo P. Demerey Jr. to discuss preparations for the upcoming SKRTF Meeting of the NYC-CDO Area Office covering Regions 10 and 13 this coming June, alongside other youth-centered programs and activities for the province.

The meeting highlighted the importance of strengthening collaboration between the provincial government and youth leaders in advancing initiatives that promote leadership, participation, empowerment, and meaningful engagement among the young people of Dinagat Islands.

Through unity and shared commitment, the province continues to move forward in building more opportunities and programs for the youth sector.

𝗗𝗜𝗖𝗧 𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗡-𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗢𝗙 𝟯 𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗦 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛 𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗥 𝗢𝗙 𝗟𝗚𝗨–𝗦𝗔𝗡 𝗝𝗢𝗦𝗘

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) formally turned over three (3) tablets intended to support and strengthen the health sector services of the Local Government Unit of San Jose.

Present during the turnover activity were Vice Mayor Hon. Rechard Pasquil, representing Mayor Hon. Ruben J. D. “Kking” Zuniega, together with Hon. Clica Antipolo, SK Federation President/Ex-Officio SB Member Hon. Kim Valeri A. Tampon, and DICT Dinagat Islands Provincial Director Engr. Ricardo T. Bacolod Jr.

This initiative highlights the continuous collaboration between the LGU and national government agencies in promoting digital transformation and improving the delivery of public health services through technology and innovation for the benefit of the people of San Jose.

Present and actively participating during the 20th Regular Session of the 13th Sangguniang Bayan was SK Federation President and Ex-Officio SB Member Hon. Kim Valeri A. Tampon. The session was presided over by Vice Mayor Hon. Rechard Pasquil, together with the honorable members of the Sangguniang Bayan, discussing matters significant to the welfare, development, and progress of the Municipality of San Jose.

Also present during the session was SP Secretary of the Province of Dinagat Islands, Atty. Segundino S. Basadre, LLB, further strengthening coordination and legislative collaboration between the municipal and provincial government.

The participation of the youth sector through the SK Federation continues to strengthen inclusive governance and ensure that the voices of the young people are represented in local legislation and policymaking.
