The Office of Student Affairs and Services, as the Non-Academic Awards Committee, has successfully completed its annual evaluation of applicants for the Non-Academic Awards for the Academic Year 2025–2026 on May 20-22, 2026. Following a thorough screening process, the Committee is pleased to announce the graduating students who have met the institutional requirements, standards, and qualifications for non-academic recognition. This recognition highlights the institution’s commitment to celebrating student excellence beyond the classroom through meaningful participation in co-curricular and developmental activities.

The College extends heartfelt congratulations to all awardees for their exemplary achievements and significant contributions in leadership, athletics, socio-cultural activities, journalism, and other co-curricular endeavors. Their accomplishments embody the principles of holistic student development and align with the mandates of the Commission on Higher Education regarding outcomes-based education and student development programs. Through these outstanding non-academic awardees, the institution continues to promote comprehensive growth, leadership development, civic engagement, sportsmanship, campus journalism, and cultural enrichment among students.

With a total of 𝟴𝟴𝟰 graduating students in attendance, the two-day activity served as a vital platform in equipping future professionals with the competencies and confidence necessary to navigate the demands of the modern workforce.

The program delivered comprehensive and relevant sessions on resume development, interview strategies, professional communication, workplace readiness, and personal branding ensuring that participants are well-prepared to transition from academic life to employment with competence and integrity.

Lead Camp 2026 successfully brought together student leaders from the Main Campus, Dumingag, Pagadian Annex, and Canuto at the Dapiwak Campus of the JHCSC System in a meaningful celebration of leadership, unity, and service.

Anchored on the theme, “LIG-DONG-LIG-ON, NAHIUSA,” the three-day camp became a venue for growth, collaboration, and empowerment. Through engaging activities and leadership sessions, participants strengthened their skills, built stronger connections, and deepened their commitment to serve with integrity and purpose.
Guided by the motto “Servire Fidem” (Serve with Faith), the camp reminded everyone that true leadership is grounded in faith, character, and selfless service.

This successful initiative was made possible through the leadership of 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗩𝗲𝗻𝘂𝘀 𝗠. 𝗔𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗱𝗼, MAEd, RGC, Dean of Student Affairs and Services, together with the support of the administration headed by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗘𝗱𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗼 𝗛. 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀, President of JHCSC.

The JHCSC Students Affairs and Services (SAS) personnel participate in the 30th National Conference and Training Workshop of the Philippine Association of Practitioners of Student Affairs and Services (PAPSAS), held on April 28–30, 2026, at the Frassati Auditorium, Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati Building, University of Santo Tomas, España, Manila. The conference carries the theme “𝑩𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝑺𝑨𝑺 𝑸𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑭𝒓𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑭𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆.”

The event brings together more than 500 vice-presidents, deans, directors, and practitioners of Student Affairs and Services across the country. It serves not only as a conference but also as a training workshop focused on developing an effective SAS quality framework. It further examines the current state of Student Affairs and Services in the Philippines and elaborates on essential components, including policies, practices, processes, and outcomes. These components are emphasized to ensure active, responsive, and functional leadership and management of SAS.

Before going to the OSAS office, students must obtain clearance from their respective programs/schools.

Those with pending obligations, such as from the Laboratory, Grievance and Discipline Office, Librarian, Guidance and Counseling Office, Student Organizations (for officers), CSSOC, and tuition fees (for graduate students and second coursers) must first complete and secure all necessary clearances.
