STRENGTHENING PARTNERSHIP, SUSTAINING PEACE AND SECURITY

MAJ ALBERTO E BELLINGAN II (INF) PA, Director, 704th Community Defense Center (704CDC), paid a courtesy call to PCOL MARK ANTHONY ANDRADE, the Provincial Director of the Siquijor Police Provincial Office (Siquijor PPO) as part of the Center’s continuing efforts to strengthen coordination and partnership with the Philippine National Police.

The courtesy call provided an opportunity to highlight the mission and role of the Community Defense Center, particularly in supporting peace, security, and community development through close coordination with partner agencies.

The strengthened partnership between the Philippine Army and the PNP underscores the importance of unity, cooperation, and mutual support in maintaining a safe and peaceful environment for the people of Siquijor.

Through sustained collaboration and a shared commitment to public service, the 704CDC remains dedicated to contributing to lasting peace and security—creating an environment conducive to sustainable socio-economic development and a more resilient community.

UPHOLDING HONOR. LIVING WITH INTEGRITY. SERVING WITH DEDICATION.

On 05 October 2026, personnel of the 704CDC, led by MAJ ALBERTO E BELLINGAN II (INF) PA, Director, participated in the Simultaneous Flag Raising Ceremony in observance of the 36th AFP Code of Conduct Day.

The activity highlighted the enduring values of Integrity, Discipline, Professionalism, and Commitment to Duty—principles that guide every AFP personnel in the faithful performance of their responsibilities.

As part of the ceremony, MSg GILBERT L CUPAT (ARM) PA led the Renewal of the Pledge of Allegiance to the AFP Code of Conduct. Thereafter, MAJ BELLINGAN delivered the messages of the Commander, RESCOM, PA, and the Chief of Staff, AFP, emphasizing the collective responsibility of both regular and reserve personnel to uphold the highest ethical standards of the organization.

More than a ceremony, the observance serves as a reminder that the AFP Code of Conduct must be lived every day—through our actions, decisions, and service to the Filipino people.

Personnel of the 704th Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (704th RRIBN), under the 704CDC, 7RCDG, RESCOM, PA, augmented in the provision of security assistance during the Dila-ab Festival in the Province of Siquijor.

The participation of the Reserve Force in this significant cultural celebration reflects its steadfast commitment to supporting the local community and ensuring a safe and peaceful environment for residents and visitors.

More than providing security, this activity highlights the vital role of the Reserve Force in supporting socio-economic and cultural activities that strengthen community engagement, promote local heritage, and foster unity among the people of Siquijor.

The 704th RRIBN remains committed to its mandate of serving the community and supporting the Philippine Army in promoting peace, security, and community resilience.
