Sta. Cruz Integrated School successfully conducted its two-day School-Based INSET entitled "Empowering Educators for Holistic and Inclusive Learning: Advancing Literacy and Numeracy, Promoting Teacher Wellness, and Fostering Inclusive Classroom Practices."

The training enhanced teachers' knowledge and skills while strengthening the bond among SCIS Elementary, Junior High School, and Senior High School teachers. Through interactive activities and meaningful discussions, participants remained enthusiastic, engaged, and collaborative throughout the two-day event.

Together, we continue to grow, learn, and work as one SCIS family in providing quality and inclusive education for every learner. 💙💛

Tiyak, ligtas, at handa! 🌏🔔 This June 18, 2026 at 8:00 AM we joined the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill — proudly led by our School Principal, Ma’am Matilde Cancamo! With Ma’am Matilde guiding the steps, students and staff practiced how to “Drop, Cover, and Hold On,” respond calmly, and move safely to designated evacuation areas. 👩‍🏫➡️🧒➡️👦

We turned preparedness into a team effort: teachers calmly coached their classes, student leaders helped organize lines, and our teaching staff ensured routes were clear. Highlights from the drill: timely responses with zero panic ⏱️, smooth duck-and-cover moves 🦆📦, and orderly, quick evacuations to assembly points — lahat naka-checklist! ✅

Beyond practice, we used the drill to reinforce important lessons: emergency kits ready, buddy system activated, and clear communication between classrooms and the command center. Salamat, Ma’am Matilde, for leading by example and inspiring confidence in all of us. 🙏💪

Kahit walang kuryente, hindi napigilan ang init ng samahan natin! This morning’s PTA 1st General Assembly for SY 2026–2027 was a big success — led by our inspiring principal, Ma’am Matilde Q. Cancamo. ⚡❌➡️💖

Elected our new PTA officers — bagong mukha, bagong sigla! 🗳️
School updates — plans and programs para sa mas maayos na pag-aaral 📚
Child protection & bullying — taimtim na usapan para ligtas at masayang paaralan 🛡️

9:00 AM, June 9 — Sta. Cruz Integrated School hit PAUSE and practiced safety like true champions! ⏱️✨ In full compliance with DepEd Bukidnon Division Memorandum No. DM No. 292, s. 2026, our learners, teachers, and staff took part in the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill to sharpen preparedness, strengthen routines, and build confidence for real emergencies.

From the moment the drill alarm sounded, students and personnel moved quickly and calmly. Classroom teachers guided learners through the Drop, Cover, and Hold On procedure, while school safety officers monitored routes and assisted where needed. Younger children followed clear, practiced instructions with surprising composure, and senior students set great examples by helping peers and ensuring orderly movement. At designated evacuation points, everyone conducted headcounts and checked classmates’ well-being.

This drill wasn’t just about speed — it was about teamwork, awareness, and effective communication. Teachers used the opportunity to reinforce safety lessons, discuss why drills matter, and remind students how to stay calm under pressure. Parents and guardians were later informed of the drill’s outcomes and encouraged to review family emergency plans at home.

We’re proud of how our Sta. Cruz community came together: quick moves, calm faces, and big smiles—ready for anything. Continuous practice keeps everyone safer, and today’s success shows our shared commitment to protection and resilience. 🌱🧯💪
