The Municipality of Del Carmen, in partnership with the 1503rd Community Defense Center and the 15th RESCOM, invites you to a vital Information & Awareness Lecture: "Understanding the Importance of the West Philippine Sea."

Our seas are more than just water—they are a source of livelihood, a pillar of our national sovereignty, and a legacy for the next generation. Join us as we dive into the current developments in our maritime territory and discuss our collective role in national security.

LOOK || 7th TRAINING DAY

Surigao del Norte State University (SNSU) - Del Carmen Campus ROTC Unit, under the 1503rd CDC, 15th RCDG, RESCOM, Philippine Army, Successfully to conducted the 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐚𝐲 for the 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝟏 Training Program on 𝟐9 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 at the SNSU Campus.

The training session focused on practical, the MS1 Basic Cadets engaged the 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 instruction, and the discipline, alertness, and command ex*****on essential for military bearing. The event was attended by three (3) GMA - Graduate Military Assistants, and four (4) 1CL, eleven (11) 2CL.

The cadets' foundation in knowledge, discipline, and leadership was further reinforced by these workshops, which helped them develop into future servant leaders with integrity and purpose.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | 𝟔𝐓𝐇 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐃𝐀𝐘

On 22 November 2025, The field formation began precisely at exactly 0700H at the Surigao Del Norte State University (SNSU) Del Carmen Campus ROTC Unit,

And then checking of attendance, accounting. Once all the cadets were accounted for and inspected, the basic cadets proceeded to the ground to practiced pasamasid & practical. Support by 1 (GMA) Graduate Military Assistant , & four (4) 1CL, and seven (7) 2CL Cadet Officers.

Thanks to the dedication of Advance ROTC Cadet Officers, Basic Cadets, and Cadettes, the morning training proceeded smoothly and was successfully.

The Surigao Del Norte State University - Del Carmen unit Reserve Officers’ Training Corps successfully conducted its 5th ROTC Training Day on 25 October 2025 at the SNSU ground.

The training focused on practical. The event was attended by 2 GMA - Graduate Military Assistants, and four 1CL, five 2CL, and Aspiring Officers, led by CDT LTC LAURENCE SAMONTINA, 1CL, Corps Commander of the SNSU - DC ROTC Unit.

This year’s theme, “Katuwang sa Kapayapaan at Kaunlaran ng Bagong Pilipinas,” underscores the vital role of the reserve force in building a resilient and progressive nation, an investment to national defense.
