Under the supervision of Provincial Fire Marshal FSSUPT RICHIE E FABRE, personnel of the BFP Surigao del Norte Provincial Headquarters, together with the Fireboat Fire Sub-Station personnel, actively participated in a Mangrove Tree Planting Activity held at Brgy. Nabago, Surigao City, Surigao del Norte.

The activity was conducted in support of the 125th Founding Anniversary of the Philippine Coast Guard, with the theme, β€œOne Sea, One Mission, One Legacy: 125 Years of Guarding the Nation’s Maritime Future,” and the 27th National Maritime Week Celebration, themed β€œFrom Policy to Practice: Powering Maritime Excellence.”

The initiative highlights the importance of environmental stewardship, marine ecosystem protection, and collective action in preserving the country’s coastal and maritime resources.

Through active participation in environmental initiatives, BFP Surigao del Norte remains committed to strengthening inter-agency partnerships and contributing to the protection of communities and the environment.

02 September 2026 II TURNOVER OF COMMAND

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Surigao del Norte is conducting the Turnover of Command Ceremony for the newly designated Fire Marshals and Sub-Station Commanders at the Provincial Headquarters.

The ceremony formally signifies the transition of command and the transfer of duties, responsibilities, and accountability from the outgoing to the newly designated Fire Marshals and Sub-Station Commanders. This ensures a smooth and orderly transition while maintaining continuity of leadership and efficient delivery of fire protection and emergency response services in their respective areas of responsibility.

Following the ceremony, FSSUPT RICHIE E FABRE , Provincial Fire Marshal, delivered his message to the newly designated commissioned and non-commissioned officers, emphasizing the importance of strong leadership, accountability, discipline, teamwork, and commitment to public service
