This year, the SIRAK Awards has been recalibrated to meet and set higher standards for youth development initiatives among Sangguniang Kabataan Councils, youth organizations, and youth-serving organizations. Through a more robust and responsive recognition system, we aim to inspire greater impact, innovation, and meaningful participation in community development.

NYC POLICY ON FULL COMPLIANCE:

To achieve 100% compliance at the Municipal level, the following must be satisfied:

1. ALL BARANGAYS must accomplish in set (not alternately) either PPAs or GAPs under Part 1 and Part 2;
2. The LYDO must accomplish Part 3

Only when ALL BARANGAYS have completed Parts 1 and 2, and Part 3 is completed by the LYDO, shall the Municipality be declared 100% COMPLIANT.

The Municipal Youth Development Office is now officially accepting applications for the Certificate of Good Standing for SK Official's Elegibility (SKOE) for all Sangguniang Kabataan Officials who served during the 2018–2023 term.

This certification is an essential requirement for SK Officials who wish to avail of the SK Official’s Eligibility, pursuant to existing Civil Service Commission and National Youth Commission guidelines.

📌 Who may apply?

All former SK Officials (Chairperson, Member, Secretary, and Treasurer) who completed their term from 2018 to 2023 and complied with the required reportorial and governance standards.

📌 Where to apply?

Submit your application at the Municipal Youth Development Office (Ground Floor, MDRRMO Building) during office hours.

📌 What to prepare?

Applicants are advised to prepare the following requirements:

1. Letter of Intent
2. Certification of Service Rendered (Barangay and DILG Issued)
3. Barangay Certification of Good Standing as SK Official
4. Copy of Oath of Office
