OPLAN BANDILYO | ROAD SAFETY AWARENESS CAMPAIGN
The Tacloban City Police Office – Police Station 3 (TCPO-PS3), under the direct supervision of PCPT Kemy G Bas, continuously intensifies its Oplan Bandilyo campaign through the conduct of Road Safety Awareness activities aimed at promoting discipline and responsible behavior among motorists, passengers, and pedestrians.
This initiative serves as a reminder to strictly observe traffic laws and road safety measures to prevent road crash incidents and ensure public safety. Motorists are encouraged to wear helmets and seatbelts, follow traffic signs and speed limits, avoid distracted driving, and remain alert while on the road.
Road safety is a shared responsibility. Through awareness, discipline, and cooperation, we can help create safer roads and protect lives.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
LOOK: Personnel of Tacloban City Police Office – Police Station 3, under the direct supervision of PCPT KEMY G. BAS, OIC, continuously strengthen community engagement through conduct of informative dialogue/pulong-pulong and the distribution of Information Education and Communication (IEC) materials to the youth, students, and residents of Northern Tacloban as part of intensified efforts to promote public safety and crime prevention.
During engagement, discussed are the Salient features of Republic Act 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004, Republic Act 11313 also known as the Safe Spaces Act (Bawal Bastos Law), and Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, including the harmful effects of illegal drugs and some relevant information on the government’s Anti-Terrorism Campaign.
Moreover, the public was reminded of various safety tips and encouraged to remain vigilant in order to prevent becoming victims of crime and to promptly report any suspicious activities to the authorities.

PS3 RESPONSE TO A REPORTED COMMOTION INCIDENT VIA 911 CALL
NEW KAWAYAN, TACLOBAN CITY—Tacloban City Police Office-Police Station 3 personnel, under the direct supervision of PCPT KEMY G BAS, OIC, promptly responded to a reported Riot incident on the evening of May 28, 2026, following a call received through DILG/911.
At approximately 10:28 PM, PS3 personnel were dispatched to brgy. 106 Sto niño, Aeroville, Tacloban City, the responding officers arrived at the scene without delay at 10:29 pm.
Upon arrival at the scene, the responding officers observed a riotous disturbance involving a group of individuals. The officers immediately intervened and implemented appropriate crowd-control measures to restore peace and order. As a result of the prompt police response, the individuals involved were apprehended and subsequently brought to the police station for proper documentation and further investigation.
