AI could also lead to higher productivity growth, but adoption in EAP remains limited because of gaps in connectivity and skills. Only 13% to 17% of multinational subsidiaries in China and Thailand currently use AI, which is one third of the proportion in industrial countries. Learn what it will take for the region to unlock AI's full potential: http://wrld.bg/PvWN50YOR5e

With support from the World Bank Group and the Department of Agriculture - Philippines's new Technical Assistance for Sustainable Agricultural Transformation (TASAT) program, farmers can grow more and earn more through better support and tools β including better targeted fertilizer through digital vouchers, grow more income-boosting fruits and vegetables, and use farming methods that can better handle floods, droughts, and changing weather.
Together with the World Bank supported-Philippines Sustainable Agriculture Transformation program, this aims to give millions of farmers more stable harvests, better incomes, and more jobs and opportunities in rural communities.

The World Bank is providing a US$24.5 million grant to help the Department of Agriculture - Philippines launch the Technical Assistance for Sustainable Agricultural Transformation (TASAT), a new program that will help farmers grow more and earn more by giving them better support and tools β including better targeted fertilizer through digital vouchers, support more income-boosting fruits and vegetables, and promote farming that can better handle floods, droughts, and changing weather.
TASAT is supported by two grants: US$ 14.5 million from the United Kingdom's Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office through its support to the "Food System 2030", as well as US$ 10 million from the World Bank Group's Livable Planet Trust Fund under Framework of Financial Incentives.
Together with the WBβsupported Philippines Sustainable Agriculture Transformation program, this support aims to help millions of farmers achieve more stable harvests, better incomes, more jobs and opportunities and a stronger future for their families.
