Sincere gratitude is likewise conveyed to the dedicated SRCCMSTHS faculty and staff, as well as to the SPTA under the leadership of Mrs. Helena Okol, whose continued cooperation and generous assistance played a vital role in the training, preparedness, and success of our student journalists.
This collective commitment and shared vision underscore a powerful truth: when a school community stands united, excellence is not only achieved, but also sustained and elevated.
A Legacy Remembered, A Future Renewed
Last December 12, 2025, we paused not merely to remember a name, but to honor a life whose ideals continued to shape hearts, minds, and communities. On the birth anniversary of the late Senator Renato “Compañero” Cayetano, we commemorated a statesman whose unwavering integrity, deep compassion, and selfless dedication to public service remained profoundly felt, most especially in the institution that proudly bore his name.
At Sen. Renato “Compañero” Cayetano Memorial Science and Technology High School, the day held deep and lasting significance. It was more than a remembrance of a birthdate; it was a tribute to a vision. A vision that believed education was a powerful equalizer, that public service must be grounded in sincerity, and that leadership must always be guided by empathy, courage, and truth.
The commemoration was made even more meaningful through the generosity of the Taguig City Government, under the leadership of our beloved Mayor Laarni “Ate Lani” L. Cayetano. The provision of free food for our faculty, staff, and students became a simple yet powerful gesture, one that reflected Senator Cayetano’s lifelong commitment to caring for the Filipino people. It reminded everyone that genuine service was best felt through acts of kindness, unity, and shared humanity.
As we listened to the voices of our teachers and students, we were reminded that Senator Cayetano’s legacy lived on not only in history books or monuments, but in everyday actions. It lived in every learner we guided, every value we upheld, and every opportunity we nurtured within the school. His name was not merely displayed on the walls; it was reflected in the school’s mission, discipline, and collective hope for a better future.
Standing strong as a symbol of his ideals, the school continued to be a place where character was formed, dreams were encouraged, and service was lived. We carried his name with humility, honored his legacy with gratitude, and moved forward with a renewed sense of purpose.
A name we carried.
A legacy we honored.
A future we continued to build together.
Here at SRCCMSTHS, we looked back on the late senator’s contributions with deep respect and moved forward inspired to live by the values he so nobly championed.

We are thrilled to announce another historic achievement for our school! Our student representative, George Lean Tizon, has been declared the Champion in the Project Pitch Competition at the 2025 Regional Climate Change Caravan, marking a back-to-back victory for our institution after also winning the regional championship in 2024.
With the expert guidance of his coach, Ms. Jimnaira Abanto, George confidently presented a well-developed climate action proposal that addressed the growing challenges faced by schools due to extreme heat and recurring floods. “G12 ALTIORA Ascends: The Journey Begins”
The Work Immersion Send-Off Ceremony for Grade 12 Altiora opened with an inspiring and powerful commencement, an opening salvo that marked not just the start of a program, but the beginning of a life-changing journey.
As students stepped forward in their professional attire and their dreams lit up the screen, the hall felt the weight of their aspirations and the promise of who they are becoming.
This milestone was more than a tradition; it was a testament to growth. From SRCC’s first immersion in 2018 to today, each learner has carried with them a story of perseverance, humility, and hope. And as the new batch of Altiora prepares to enter real workplaces, they rise not only for themselves but for the community that believes in them.
With hearts full and visions clear, the opening salvo declared one truth:Altiora is ready, ready to learn, to lead, and to shine beyond the walls of the classroom.

G12 ALTIORA READY TO RISE: A SEND-OFF TOWARD
REAL-WORLD EXCELLENCE
The Parents’ Conference and Send-Off Ceremony for the Grade 12 Work Immersion Program marked a defining milestone for Grade 12 Altiora as they prepare to transition from classroom learning to real industry environments. Guided by the theme “TANGLAW: Transforming Aspirations, Nurturing Growth, Leading Achievements, and Widening Horizons through Community Partnership in Work Immersion,” the event highlighted the power of collaboration in shaping future-ready learners.
Held on November 22, 2025 (Saturday), at the SRCCMSTHS Auditorium, the ceremony brought together parents, students, teachers, and school leaders in a meaningful gathering that underscored the shared responsibility of preparing young people for the professional world. Through comprehensive orientations and inspiring messages, parents were equipped with essential knowledge about the Work Immersion Program, ensuring that safety, discipline, and growth remain at the forefront of every student’s experience. More importantly, students were challenged to embrace this journey with humility, dedication, and a hunger for excellence.
This event was made possible through the guidance of our visionary school leaders and was thoughtfully carried out by the Work Immersion Coordinator/SHS Focal Person, Mr. Judd Lawrence D. Guy-ioco. The three-hour gathering became a meaningful launchpad, affirming the students’ readiness, providing parents with clear and essential guidance, and further strengthening the vital partnership between the school and its industry collaborators.
“As the Altiora Batch steps into the world of work, may they rise with humility, lead with excellence, and strive always for the higher ground. For those who choose to climb, the horizon will never be the limit. Altiora, ever upward.”

The Junior and Senior High School teams of Senator Renato "Compañero" Cayetano Memorial Science and Technology High School have secured their spots in the Brainiac Regional Finals after dominating the cluster finals held on November 22 at the Mandaluyong College of Science and Technology. The junior team — composed of Kalel Elijah Lontok, Harvey Medina, and Eugene Martin Sinampaga — clinched third place, while the senior team — composed of Mark Trowa Dorado, George Lean Tizon, and Ainiel Nathan Satorre — claimed second place.
The paper-based competition commenced with contestants tackling sixty questions spanning Mathematics, Science, Health, and, for the seniors, Research. More than 300 students from various public and private schools across the region participated, creating a heated atmosphere as they raced against time in the one-hour exam for the juniors and the 90-minute exam for the seniors.
SRCC students also shone individually. In the junior division, Medina and Sinampaga grabbed third place in Science, while Sinampaga was named first-place Top Performing Student in MUNTAPARLAS and second overall in the NCR. In the senior division, Dorado took third in Mathematics and first in Science, also ranking second as Top Performing Student in MUNTAPARLAS and third overall in the region. Satorre topped Mathematics, earned third as Top Performing Student in MUNTAPARLAS, and fourth overall.
These results highlight SRCC's dedication, hard work, and talent. The teams now set their sights on the Brainiac Regional Finals, ready to compete with even greater skill and determination. The contestants extend their deepest gratitude to their coaches — Sir Joel Padilla and Ma'am Grezilda Benitez for the juniors, and Ma'am Herwina Limpasan and Ma'am Gleza Lynn Aseñas for the seniors — their teachers, OIC-Principal Sir Arturo Tolentino, their families, all who supported them, and to God for guidance, support, and blessings throughout the competition.
