Honor•Duty•Patriotism

On 151000H May 2026, the MSTIP ROTC Unit, headed by MAJ MORENO R VIGILIA (INF) PA, ROTC Commandant, together with Cpl Dane B Custodio (Inf) PA, Admin NCO, conducted a ceremonial hand-over of cheques for cadet officers qualified under the Philippine Army Advance ROTC Cash Incentive Program (PAARCIP).

The activity recognized qualified cadet officer beneficiaries who received a cash incentive amounting to Php 12,000.00, directly downloaded to their respective Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) ATM accounts. The ceremonial turnover was represented by C/MAJ ALEXAH MAE A BALADAD 2CL, Corps Commander, together with five (5) other cadet officers.

The event was witnessed and appreciated by Ms. Bellaflor Coronado, Vice President for Academic Affairs and representative of the MSTIP President, as well as Mr.Adrian Justin S. Galvez, NSTP Director.

The ceremony was held at the MSTIP Justice Room, Sta. Mesa, Manila, and concluded at approximately 1130H. An informal meeting followed regarding the school application for ROTC activation.

The activity formally opened with 𝐁𝐆𝐄𝐍 𝐏𝐀𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐎 𝐒. 𝐓𝐎𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐒 𝐏𝐀, 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫, 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝, 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐲 as 𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿.

Day 1 highlighted discussions on 𝐑𝐀 𝟗𝟏𝟔𝟑 (𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐏 𝐋𝐚𝐰), covering implementation gaps, best practices, and key updates on the ROTC Program, including incentives, unit activation, and leadership development. The day concluded with a fellowship dinner, strengthening camaraderie among participants.

On Day 2, activities commenced with a morning mess followed by group presentations. Group 4, led by 𝐂𝐎𝐋 𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐋 𝐌 𝐀𝐆𝐏𝐀𝐎𝐀 𝐆𝐒𝐂 (𝐈𝐍𝐅) 𝐏𝐀, delivered the first presentation alongside officers, enlisted personnel, and cadet leaders. Their proposal focused on the 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗸 and 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽. All participating groups subsequently presented their respective recommendations.

The summit concluded with a Closing Ceremony presided over by 𝐌𝐆𝐄𝐍 𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐃 𝐉𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐒 𝐀𝐋𝐂𝐔𝐃𝐈𝐀 𝐏𝐀, 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫, 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝, 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐲 followed by photo opportunities and a fellowship dinner.
