At ang karapatang ito ay dapat ๐ถ๐ฝ๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐ด๐น๐ฎ๐น๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ป at ๐ถ๐ฝ๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐ด๐ธ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฎ๐น๐ผ๐ผ๐ฏ.

Today, we commemorate the historic People Power Revolution โ a defining moment when millions of Filipinos stood together to oust the dictatorship of Ferdinand Marcos Sr. and restore democratic rule in our country.
EDSA was not merely about changing a leader but it was about reclaiming institutions, rebuilding trust in governance, and reasserting the power of the people over abuse and authoritarianism. It was a collective declaration that the Filipino people would not surrender their freedoms.
Today, as the nation faces persistent economic strain, rising prices, social division, and growing public frustration under the administration of Ferdinand Marcos Jr., the memory of EDSA becomes even more significant. History reminds us that democracy requires vigilance. It calls on citizensโespecially the youthโto remain informed, engaged, and courageous in holding leaders accountable.
As a non-stock, non-profit youth organization founded by youth leaders in Tagum City, ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ฆ stands firm in upholding active citizenship, integrity, and responsible leadership. The spirit of EDSA lives on whenever we choose participation over apathy, and truth over distortion.
May this commemoration not only honor the past, but awaken in us the responsibility to safeguard our democracy today.
We take a stand today, because the fight for a just future is far from over.

As the year unfolded, it placed many moments before us, and we chose to meet them not as individuals, but as a collective that believed showing up still mattered.
It wasnโt always easy, but it was always sharedโgrounded in care, consistency, and the choice to stand with our communities.
We led with passion and served with compassion, carrying these values in every step we took.

2025 was full of life and stories, and we are deeply grateful to every soul who reached out and stood with us along the way.
This was never just because of us. It was made possible by youโyour participation, your presence, your trust. You are part of us. You are seen. You are appreciated.
As we close our 2025 milestones, we move forward with renewed purposeโtoward deeper service, wider outreach, and more lives touched.

Today, we remember Dr. Josรฉ Rizal not merely as a hero of the past, but as a conscience that continues to challenge the present. Rizal taught us that loving the country means refusing to stay silent in the face of injustice, deception, and abuse of power.
Yet as we honor his legacy and stand at the threshold of a new year, the Philippines remains trapped in the same cycle of corruption and impunity. From overpriced DepEd materials to ghost and substandard DPWH projects, the Filipino people are once again asked to endure, adjust, and accept less, while billions vanish without accountability.
We are told that โฑ500 should suffice for Noche Buena. This is not just an error in judgment; it is a statement so detached from reality that it insults every Filipino family struggling to survive. It is not frugality being demanded of the people, but silence, while corruption continues unchecked.
This is narrative manipulation. Instead of confronting systemic failure, the burden is shifted onto the people, as if dignity and basic needs are unreasonable demands. Meanwhile, communities flood, classrooms remain unfinished, and public services fail those who need them most.
As the nation rises for the Trillion Peso March, we make one thing clear. Filipinos are done being silent. We refuse to be pacified. We refuse to be gaslit. We refuse to accept crumbs in exchange for our consent.
As we enter a new year, we refuse to carry old injustices forward. Honoring Rizal means speaking truth to power. Welcoming the new year means demanding change, not tomorrow, not eventually, but ๐ป๐ผ๐.
Tindog Tagum calls on everyone to continue speaking up, questioning, resisting, and demanding accountability. We stand firm that we will not stop until those responsible are held to account,
Stand for truth.
Stand for justice.
Stand for due process.

This holiday season, Angat Buhay, together with its Angat Bayanihan Volunteer Network, carried out a reverse caroling initiative across different parts of the country, including Davao with Tindog Tagum. The effort reached communities affected by recent calamities, as well as ordinary people who are often overlooked. This includes those who continue to serve even during the holidaysโsuch as sanitation workers, security guards, street vendorsโand families in vulnerable situations, including informal settlers and indigent households. In Davao del Norte, the initiative moved across Tagum City, Asuncion, and Pagsabangan, bringing Christmas closer to where it is most needed.
It was a shared moment of humanity marked by quiet smiles, simple thank-yous, and the heartfelt words, โ๐ฏ๐ข๐ข ๐ฏ๐ข๐ซ๐ถ๐ฅ ๐ฎ๐ช ๐ฉ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ขโ (โsa wakas, may handa na rin kamiโ), spoken with relief and joy. These small moments carried meaning, showing that being seen and remembered matters just as much as what is given.
Each Noche Buena package may have been simple, but it carried care, dignity, and hope. Handog Pamasko 2025 serves as a reminder that the true spirit of the season lives in compassion, presence, and choosing to stand with our communities, especially those who continue to give so much while asking for so little.
This Christmas, may we remember that the season calls us to see beyond ourselves and embrace compassion in our communities. Even the simplest acts of humility, empathy, and hope can make the season truly meaningful.

Our week-long relief operations came to a heartfelt close in Sitio Logdeck, Canigang, Caraga, Davao Oriental, as Tindog Tagum, together with Angat Buhay and VA Platinum, carried out the final wave of our mission to serve.
This would not have been possible without the generosity of our partners and the unwavering dedication of our volunteers. Through their efforts, we were able to provide 350 hot meals, 220 relief packs, and 200 bottles of water to families affected by the recent earthquakes.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Angat Buhay and VA Platinum for their steadfast support, and to the AFP, PNP, and BFP for their assistance and security throughout the operations. Though this marks the final stop of our relief mission, the journey of compassion never truly ends โ for the spirit of service and hope lives on in every heart that chose to serve. ๐
