LINGGO NG KABATAAN CELEBRATION
The COVID-19 pandemic continues to challenge us in a span of six months now, and the usual Linggo ng Kabataan celebration is highly discouraged as far as social gathering is concerned. Hence, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Poblacion Barangay 5 believes that youths are bigger than the pandemic; and we can conquer this by beginning with small things while actively engaging for global action in the comforts of our homes.
Thus, the SK of Poblacion Barangay 5 is pleased to announce the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan with the theme "Youth Engagement for Global Action" through poster-making contest, essay-writing contest, video-making contest, SK Logo Design-Making Contest, and Mobile Legends Tournament.
Below are the guidelines to observe in the conduct of the Linggo ng Kabataan Activities:
1. This event is limited to the youth of Poblacion Barangay 5, Tanauan City, Batangas;
2.All participants shall be ages 30 years old and below;
3. Registration starts from October 12-16 via Google Form (Click this link to register: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1QMtk5ckAM5ntMGM9LVGVZJVXQwKKiYWiHriMLuNDRWc/edit?usp=sharing );
4.All your entries shall be passed via 'SK of Barangay Pob. 5' messenger on or before October 21 (Click this link in sending your entries: https://www.facebook.com/SK-of-Barangay-Pob-5-105786351276251/); and
5.Be guided by the following criteria:
📌 Essay-writing, Poster-making, and Video-Making activities shall be in line with this year's theme of the Linggo ng Kabataan Celebration: "Youth Engagement for Global Action".
CRITERIA:
📌 Category: ESSAY-WRITING
(It can be in Filipino or English. Type-written or handwritten)
Substance: 80%
(This includes the relevance to the theme)
Grammar: 10%
Mechanics: 10%
(Spelling and punctuation marks)
📌 Category: POSTER-MAKING
(The poster shall be put in a short bond paper. Secure a picture of your work and send it in the SK page's messenger)
Substance: 50%
(This includes the relevance to the theme)
Creativity: 40%
Neatness: 10%
📌 Category: VIDEO-MAKING
(Create a 2-minute or less video addressing how youth can contribute for global action as regards COVID-19 pandemic.)
Substance: 50%
(This includes the relevance to the theme; clear and compelling expression of message)
Visual Appeal: 20%
Artistic Merit: 20%
Audibility: 10%

📌 Category: MOBILE LEGENDS TOURNAMENT
- Create a 5-man team with a team name;
- Once the set of teams/participants is completed, drawlots will be used to determine the set of rival/opponent teams;
- Double Elimination
- The champion will be determined in a 3-round game (Meaning, the first team to get 2 wins will be declared as winner.)
NOTE: The date of Mobile Legends Tournament is yet to announce.
