On September 21, 2025, the 31st Mechanized Infantry (PERSIAN) Company, 3rd Mechanized Infantry (MAKATARUNGAN) Battalion, Armor Division, Philippine Army under the leadership of Captain John Larry B. Bumagat, Commanding Officer, in partnership with the Tarlac City Police Station led by Police Lieutenant Golda M. Pascua, Community Affairs and Development, and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology headed by Jail Senior Inspector Elvira S. Pangilinan, City Jail Warden of the Female Dorm, conducted a Feeding and Gift-Giving Activity in connection with the 53rd Martial Law Anniversary. The activity was held at the Barangay Covered Court of Barangay Balete, Tarlac City, and was participated by the residents of Said Barangay led by their Barangay Chairperson, Honorable Arnold D. Ladera.

LOOK! The 32nd Mechanized Infantry (Knights) Company has mobilized its Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) Team and is now prepared for deployment to provide immediate support and aid to communities that may be affected by Tropical Depression “Nando.”
The unit will remain on full alert and ready to render assistance throughout the monitoring period of the tropical depression within its area of operations, particularly in the Province of Tarlac.

The 31st Mechanized Infantry (PERSIAN) Company, 3rd Mechanized Infantry (MAKATARUNGAN) Battalion, Armor Division, Philippine Army, under the leadership of Captain John Larry B. Bumagat, Commanding Officer, facilitated a dialogue with the members of Malayang Magbubukid ng Asyenda Luisita (MALAYA) headed by its President, Ms. Florida Sibayan. Also present during the activity were representatives from the Tarlac City Agriculture Office led by City Agriculturist Mr. Ronald Allan M. Reyes. The dialogue centered on the department’s programs and livelihood projects, and served as a venue to address the issues and concerns of the said People’s Organization. The activity was conducted at the MALAYA Kubol, Brgy Balete, Tarlac City.

Raquel, Commanding Officer, joined the Clean-Up Drive at Barangay Cut-Cut, Tarlac City. The activity was conducted in partnership with the Barangay residents led by Honorable Crisanto C. Villafaña, Barangay Councilor.

Barangay Peace Symposium

The 3rd Mechanized Infantry (Makatarungan) Battalion under LTC ERNANIE B. MARTIN, ARM (GSC) PA, together with the 32nd Mechanized Infantry Company led by CPT RAMIL T. CAASI, ARM (PA), Company Commander, participated-in and facilitated a film showing to raise awareness pertaining to the prevailing issues on the West Philippine Sea during the Barangay Peace Symposium which was graced by the presence of HON. ROMEO G. CAPITULO, Municipal Mayor of San Jose.

With the support of other government agencies sharing their insights and expertise, PMAJ JAMES B. BUGAYONG, Chief of Police of the San Jose Municipal Police Station, delivered a lecture on the Anti-Bastos Law, while the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA) facilitated a discussion on CTG recruitment. The activity was held at the Multi-purpose Hall, Brgy. Maamot, San Jose, Tarlac, on September 19, 2025.

These initiatives aim to educate and enlighten the community on current security concerns and to promote vigilance against armed threats and unlawful recruitment. The film showing and lectures will serve as effective tools to foster greater understanding and encourage participation in maintaining peace and order at the barangay level.

In his message, LTC Martin urged the community, especially barangay leaders, to lead by example: “Let everyone be defenders of peace, protectors of security, and partners in progress”.
