Yesterday, October 30, 2024, a Eucharistic Mass led by Rev. Father Romeo Ramos Jr. was held at Business One Stop Shop Building during the visit of Mama Mary and Padre Pio in the LGU compound for the celebration of Holy Rosary month.

The Municipality of Santa Ignacia will lead the celebration of the 126th anniversary of Philippine Independence and Nationhood on June 12, 2024, at 7:30 AM at Dr. Jose P. Rizal's Monument in Centennial Park, Santa Ignacia, Tarlac. The event, themed 'Kalayaan. Kinabukasan. Kasaysayan.,' will commence with a flag-raising ceremony. This will be followed by wreath-laying rites.

The flag-raising will be led by our Local Chief Executive, Hon. Mayor Nora Modomo, Hon. Vice Mayor Nathaniel B**g Tan, Members of the 12th Sanggunian Bayan, Liga ng mga Barangay, SK Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Santa Ignacia, officers and members of the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office (PVAO), Santa Ignacia Police Station, Bureau of Fire Protection, DepED Santa Ignacia, LGU employees, and various civic organizations.

National Flag Day in the Philippines is celebrated on May 28. It commemorates the first use of the Philippine flag after the victory in the Battle of Alapan in 1898. The current national flag of the Philippines was created by the Filipino revolutionary Emilio Aguinaldo in 1897. It is a horizontal bicolor of royal blue over scarlet red. There is a white equilateral triangle at the hoist with a golden sun with 8 rays in the center and a 5-pointed gold star at each vertex. The flag was first raised after the Battle of Alapan that occurred on May 28, 1898. The battle was fought between the Filipino revolutionaries led by Aguinaldo and Spanish troops. The Spanish were defeated, and the revolutionaries recaptured the province of Cavite. After the battle, Aguinaldo entered Cavite City and unfurled the would-be national flag for the first time. Flag Day in the Philippines is marked with the raising of the national flag. The flag is permanently displayed from May 28 to June 12 (Independence Day) by all government offices and agencies, businesses, educational institutions and private residences. In recent years, the flag days have been extended until June 30 to celebrate the country’s independence and promote patriotism.

The Local Government of Santa Ignacia received a Plaque of Recognition during the 23rd Gawad KALASAG Seal Regional Awarding last December 20, 2023.

Nais ipabatid at ipaalala ng Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Santa Ignacia na ang pagbebenta ng lupa (subdivided lot) na walang kaukulang pahintulot at permiso mula sa national at lokal na pamahalaan ay MAHIGPIT NA IPINAGBABAWAL.

Nakarating po sa kaalaman ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Santa Ignacia ang napakaraming hindi otorisadong pagbebenta ng mga pang-agrikulturang lupa na hinahati sa maliliit na parte.

Muli po naming iginigiit na ito po ay BAWAL ayon sa mga umiiral na alituntunin at mga batas. Maraming salamat po.
