The Manila City Library joins our Muslim brothers and sisters in the solemn celebration of Eid Al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) on May 27, 2026.

​Eid Al-Adha is more than just a holiday; it is a profound reminder of the values of devotion, obedience, and the spirit of selflessness. It honors the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God’s command.

​This "Festival of Sacrifice" teaches us that true progress is rooted in our ability to look beyond ourselves and extend a helping hand to those in need.
