A Special Pre-Marriage Orientation and Counselling (PMOC) session for couples participating in Kasalan ng Bayan 2026 is scheduled on September 29, 2026 (Tuesday), at 8:00 a.m. at the Office of Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) Building.

Aktibong miapil ang mga kabatan-onan sa Barangay Dalama sa usa ka youth-centered learning activity nga gipahigayon sa Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) uban sa pakigtambayayong sa Municipal Health Office (MHO) pinaagi sa Sexually Healthy and Personally Empowered Adolescents (SHAPE-A) ug Healthy Young Ones (HYO) Sessions niadtong Agosto 16, 2026.

Kabahin sa selebrasyon sa Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, ang kalihokan naghatag sa mga kabatan-onan og luwas ug suportadong lugar diin sila gawasnong makakat-on, makapangutana, ug makadawat og hustong impormasyon nga angay sa ilang edad.

Gihisgutan usab sa sesyon ang mga importanteng hilisgutan sama sa kahimsog sa mga tin-edyer, responsableng pagdesisyon, maayong relasyon, ug kamahinungdanon sa pagpanalipod sa ilang kaugmaon.

Dugang sa learning session, gipanghatagan usab og school supplies ang mga batang nag-eskwela isip dugang nga suporta sa ilang edukasyon. Tumong niini nga matabangan sila nga magpabiling determinado sa ilang pagtuon ug mapadayon ang pagpaningkamot aron makab-ot ang ilang mga pangandoy.

YOUTH IN DALAMA: LEARNING, GROWING, EMPOWERING: Young people in Barangay Dalama took part in a youth-centered learning activity as the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), in partnership with the Municipal Health Office (MHO), conducted the Sexually Healthy and Personally Empowered Adolescents (SHAPE-A) and Healthy Young Ones (HYO) Sessions on August 16, 2026.

Held as part of the Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 celebration, the activity provided adolescents with a safe and supportive space where they could learn, ask questions, and gain age-appropriate information on adolescent health, responsible decision-making, healthy relationships, and the importance of protecting their future.

Adding to the meaningful activity was the distribution of school supplies to support young learners in their education, providing additional assistance to help them stay focused on their studies and pursue their aspirations.

As part of its commitment in promoting adolescent health and well-being, the Local Government Unit of Tubod proudly donated a Smart TV to the Teen Center of Arsenio A. Quibranza National High School.

This contribution aims to enhance learning sessions, life skills education, and youth development activities in a more engaging and interactive way. May this initiative empower our young people with knowledge, inspire meaningful conversations, and strengthen the Teen Center as a safe space where every adolescent feels heard, valued, and supported.

A total of 15 security personnel including 5 Barangay Public Safety Officers (BPSOs) from Barangay San Antonio, actively took part in the session. The activity aimed to strengthen the participants' understanding of responsible parenthood, gender sensitivity, positive masculinity, and the vital role of men in promoting healthy, responsible, and empowered families.

Through learning and meaningful discussions, we continue to build a community where men are active partners in family development and nation-building.

Together, let us continue to champion responsible fatherhood, shared responsibility, and stronger Filipino families.

๐ŸŒ Celebrating World Population Day 2026! ๐Ÿ’™

On July 9, 2026, the Provincial Population Office of Lanao del Norte (PPO-LDN), together with the Commission on Population and Development Regional Office X (CPD-X) headed by Regional Director Neil Aldrin G. Omega, proudly celebrated World Population Day 2026 in advance of its official observance on July 11.

The celebration also served as the Second Municipal Population Officers' Meeting of 2026, bringing together the dedicated Municipal Population Officers of Lanao del Norte to strengthen partnerships, exchange experiences, and renew their commitment to advancing population and development programs that improve the lives of every Filipino family.

During the activity, RD Omega presented Project 25@28, highlighting its vision, strategic priorities, and the crucial role of local government units in achieving sustainable, inclusive, and people-centered development. The meeting also became a meaningful venue for the Municipal Population Officers to share their accomplishments, challenges, and best practices, demonstrating their unwavering dedication to delivering quality population and development services in their respective communities.

The Municipal Mayorโ€™s Office thru the Municipal Population Office successfully conducted the KATROPA (Kalalakihang Tumutugon sa Responsibilidad at Obligasyon para sa Kalusugan ng Ina at Pamilya) Session on June 18, 2026, bringing together the Barangay Peacekeeping and Security Officers (BPSOs) from Barangays Poblacion and Tubaran to strengthen their role as advocates of responsible parenthood, gender sensitivity, family well-being, and positive masculinity.

The activity served as a valuable platform to enhance participants' awareness of their vital role not only in maintaining peace and order but also in promoting healthy families and responsible communities. Through meaningful discussions and active participation, the session encouraged men to become partners in fostering gender equality, preventing violence, and supporting the overall well-being of every family.

The session was facilitated by resource speakers from the Provincial Population Office of Lanao del Norte, Mr. MarkPaul S. Virador and Ms. Cathleenrose B. Acharon, who shared their expertise and insights on responsible parenthood and gender-related advocacies.

As part of the activity, the Municipal Mayorโ€™s Office thru the Municipal Population Office also distributed grocery items to the Barangay Peacekeeping and Security Officers (BPSOs) as a simple gesture of appreciation for their invaluable service, dedication, and continued commitment to maintaining peace, order, and public safety in their respective communities.
