For 89 years, GSIS has remained steadfast in its commitment to serve Filipino government workers and pensioners.

As reflected in the anniversary messages of Chairman Rodolfo del Rosario Jr. and President and General Manager Wick Veloso, this milestone is first and foremost a celebration of our members and pensioners whose trust inspires us to continuously improve our programs, services, and digital innovations.

We also recognize the dedicated GSIS workforce whose professionalism, resilience, and malasakit help turn our mission into meaningful service every day.

Together, we celebrate 89 years of service, security, and partnership.

May 28, 2026 – GSIS Zamboanga Strengthens Partnership in PNP Region IX Collaborative Meeting

The GSIS Zamboanga Branch Office joined the PNP Regional Finance Unit 9 (RFU9) Collaborative Meeting on May 28, 2026, at Camp Col. Romeo A. Abendan, Zamboanga City.

The activity brought together PNP PRO9, government finance agencies, and financial institutions across Region IX to strengthen partnerships and collaboration.

GSIS was represented by Branch Manager Araceli Del Pilar, together with Imelda Angeles and Hazel Jean Alinabon, who served as resource speakers and shared updates on GSIS programs and services.

This initiative highlights GSIS’ continued commitment to building strong partnerships in delivering better public service.

In observance of Eid al-Adha and pursuant to Proclamation No. 1264 (s. 2026), GSIS offices will be closed on May 27, 2026 (Wednesday).​

Regular operations will resume on May 28, 2026 (Thursday). ​

May 25, 2026 | GSIS Zamboanga

GSIS Zamboanga actively participated in the City Government’s flag ceremony and successfully launched the Ginhawa Service Hub at City Hall, which will run from May 25 to 29, 2026. This initiative brings GSIS services closer and more accessible to the public.

The activity was made possible through the strong partnership with the City Government of Zamboanga, led by Mayor Khymer Adan T. Olaso. As part of the engagement, the GSIS team also paid a courtesy visit to OIC Mayor Celso L. Lobregat to express gratitude for the approval of SP Resolution No. 714, which supports the GSEL Program.

During the meeting, the team also presented and discussed various GINHAWA products and services.

Highlighting the activity further were onsite media interviews conducted by RPN D # # # and eMedia, helping amplify awareness of GSIS programs and services among the public.

For 22 years, GSIS Boac has been a steady source of support, compassion, and ginhawa for Marinduque’s members and pensioners, like family.​

A small but mighty 5-person team, led by Jemaine Marie Marapia, serves 5,364 active members and 2,403 pensioners, rain or shine.​
