Zamboanga Central School and the entire Zamboanga Central District proudly celebrate the remarkable achievement of Mr. Mari Vic A. In a profession built on passion, service, and lifelong dedication, one educator continues to rise above expectations. Mr. Mari Vic A. Ando, a proud Grade 6 teacher of Zamboanga Central School and the lone representative of the Zamboanga Central District. This school year, he once again carved his name in the roster of exemplary educators as a Finalist for Most Outstanding Elementary Teacher for 2025, held at the elegant Garden Orchid Hotel, Convention Hall, Zamboanga City.

This prestigious recognition marks the second time that Mr. Ando has reached this milestone, having first been named a finalist in School Year 2023. To earn such distinction twice is a powerful affirmation of his commitment to quality education, transformative teaching, and exceptional leadership within the school community.

Known for his energetic presence in the classroom, Mr. Ando creates a learning environment where Grade 6 learners feel encouraged, challenged, and empowered. 🅩🅒🅢 invites everyone to take part in this annual event as we rally behind this year's theme: “𝘚𝘢𝘮𝘢-𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢 𝘴𝘢 𝘉𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘉𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘢.” Let’s join forces to prepare our school facilities for the new academic year and help create a safe, clean, and learning-friendly environment for all.

This is a nationwide program led by the Department of Education (DepEd) that promotes volunteerism and bayanihan. Communities, parents, and stakeholders come together to get schools ready for the opening of classes through clean-up drives, minor repairs, and maintenance activities.
