| AdZU Ignites Literacy and Love at Tolosa NHS!

Tolosa National High School extends its heartfelt gratitude to the ADZU JHS English Department for choosing our school as the beneficiary of your SERVICIO IGNACIO Outreach Activity held on October 15, 2025.

Your generosity in providing school supplies, hygiene kits, and books for our learners — as well as your support in establishing our very own library — truly inspires a deeper love for learning within our school community. The feeding activity you conducted also brought smiles and nourishment to our students, reminding us that acts of kindness can spark hope in many ways.

We are deeply thankful to Ms. Angelica Grace R. Ignacio and to the entire AdZU JHS English Department, together with the Instructional Media Center, Arrupe Office, Campus Ministry Office, Ateneo Debate Congress, and The Blue Eagle Publications, for your compassion and dedication to promoting literacy and service.

| A Grateful Heart, A Delicious Treat! 🍕

Tolosa National High School extends its heartfelt thanks to Jollibee Group Foundation through Ma’am Anna Candido Acundo for the generous donation of ARLA Cheese Sticks (Mozzarella)!

Over 400 Tolosa NHS learners enjoyed these cheesy delights, while others got an extra treat as the cheese sticks became pizza toppings during our feeding session, benefiting more than 90 learners.

Your generosity truly adds flavor not just to our meals, but also to our learners’ smiles. Thank you for sharing the joy and nourishment!

| Embracing Harmony with Creation

Tolosa National High School proudly joins the Dialogue with Creation Partners Week, celebrated annually from October 1–7, an inspiring initiative of the Silsilah Dialogue Movement in partnership with DepEd–Zamboanga City Division, various LGUs, and other stakeholders.

This year’s theme, “Mother Earth: Our Future is Our Present,” reminds us that caring for the environment is not only a duty but a gift — a way of giving back to the Creator through love and stewardship of all His creations.

The celebration highlights the PLANT, CARE, and SHARE Program, encouraging everyone to plant around homes, schools, and communities while promoting herbal medicine awareness and care for nature. 🌱

Students and teachers from Tolosa NHS participated in engaging activities such as tree planting, clean up drive, poster and slogan making, and poetry writing contest, showing creativity and environmental responsibility.

The week culminated in a meaningful closing program at Harmony Village, Sinunuc, Zamboanga City, where unity, reflection, and a shared commitment to protect Mother Earth were truly felt.

| ARAL: Advancing Recovery, Achieving Learning!

Tolosa National High School Kicks Off the ARAL Program

Tolosa National High School proudly launched the ARAL Program (Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning Program) — a national DepEd initiative designed to bridge learning gaps and strengthen foundational skills in Reading, Mathematics, and Science.

The event introduced the goals and purpose of ARAL, emphasizing its mission to ensure that no learner is left behind through systematic tutorials, targeted interventions, and inclusive support.

Adding a spark of fun and learning, students showcased their talents and wit through Spelling Bee and Short Story Telling activities, followed by engaging Q&A sessions.

Through ARAL, TNHS continues to champion accessible, quality education for all — empowering learners to recover, rise, and achieve!
