Epektibo este dia, Hunyo 1, 2026, el second tranche del Wage Order No. RIX-24, que ta dale additional ₱25.00 daily wage increase para na mga workers del private establishments na Zamboanga Peninsula.

Con este increase, el nuevo minimum wage rate na rehiyon:
✅ ₱464.00 por dia para na Non-Agricultural Establihments
✅ ₱451.00 por dia para na Agricultural Establishments

During the press conference, members of the media were apprised of the Board’s pre- and post-issuance activities, the inclusion of the Province of Sulu pursuant to Executive Order No. 91, series of 2025, and the Board’s action on the resolutions filed by the ITC Wholesale and Retail Trade.

ZAMBOANGA CITY – In celebration of the 124th Labor Day, the Department of Labor and Employment Region 9, through its Zamboanga City Field Office, in collaboration with the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board 9, the Zamboanga City Tripartite Industrial Peace Council (ZCTIPC), and the various Industry Tripartite Councils, successfully conducted the Talentadong Obrero Year 8 and Raffle Bonanza on May 1, 2026, at KCC Mall de Zamboanga, Zamboanga City.

The activity was one of DOLE 9’s enrolled activities for the 124th Labor Day celebration, anchored on the theme, “Disenteng Trabaho para sa Lahat: Iisang Hangarin, Bagong Pilipinas Sama-samang Mararating.” The event aimed to celebrate the invaluable contributions of Filipino workers through a fun-filled afternoon of talent, entertainment, recognition, and prizes.

First launched in 2016, Talentadong Obrero has become one of the exciting highlights of the Labor Day celebration in Zamboanga City. More than just a talent competition, the activity provides a platform for workers to showcase their creativity and passion in music and dance, while promoting unity, camaraderie, and appreciation among workers from various establishments.

Participants may join in either of the following categories:
• Individual Singing (solo performance)
• Group Dancing (teams of 3 to 5 members)

All submitted entries will undergo a pre-screening process. Only the top five (5) finalists per category will proceed to the Final Show

𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒
• Performances must be appropriate and respectful.
• Profanity and sensitive or controversial topics, including politics and elections, are strictly prohibited.
• The use of dangerous stunts or props is strongly discouraged.
• Participants are encouraged to use existing uniforms, costumes, and props, and to avoid incurring unnecessary expenses.
