Sardar Farhad Ali Chief Conservator of Forests has assumed the charge of the post of Chief Conservator of Forests Northern Forests Region-II Abbottabad on 26.03.2025. Later on, the worthy Chief Conservator of Forests has presented the carnival wreath to the martyred of Forest Department.

On March 23rd 2025, a Farewell Iftar Dinner hosted in the honor of Mr. Kifayatullah Baloch, Chief Conservator of Forests, Northern Forest Region-II. The event was graced by esteemed senior officials of KP Forest Department, both serving and retired, who gathered to pay tribute to his remarkable contributions.

With profound respect and admiration, KP Forest Department honored 39 years dedicated services of honorable CCF to the Forest Department. His steadfast dedication, integrity and leadership will be deeply missed, but his legacy will continue to thrive within the department.

May fortune's favor and bliss accompany him in all his future ventures & endeavors.

Today, our passionate Forest staff of Daur Watershed Division along with CDO Miss Nausheen of CDE&GAD directorate teamed up with the energetic and enthusiastic students of Beacon House School System, Move Public School and Fahim ul Islam School at Thai Forest School, Abbottabad, for a meaningful planting activity and an engaging awareness-raising session. Together, we planted trees and nurtured a deep connection with nature, inspiring the young minds to become guardians of our planet.

The event was graced by the honorable Chief Conservator of Forests, Mr. Kifayatullah Baloch, who shared invaluable insights with the young ambassadors of our future. Mr. Farhad Ali Conservator of Forests Lower Hazara guided them on the path forward to tackle the pressing challenges of climate change and emphasized the importance of collective action in building resilience against environmental vulnerabilities. Syed Tariq Shah, Principal KP Forest School Thai welcomed the participants.

Together, we are sowing the seeds of hope, growing forests, and fostering a legacy of environmental stewardship for generations to come.

آج، ہمارے پرجوش دوڑ واٹرشیڈ ڈویژن کے جنگلات کے عملے نے سی ڈی ای اینڈ جی اے ڈی ڈائریکٹوریٹ کی سی ڈی او مس نوشین کے ساتھ مل کر ایبٹ آباد کے تھائی فاریسٹ اسکول میں بی کن ہاؤس اسکول سسٹم، موو پبلک اسکول اور فہیم الاسلام اسکول کے پرجوش طلباء کے ساتھ ایک معنی خیز پودے لگانے کی سرگرمی اور آگاہی بڑھانے کے سیشن میں حصہ لیا۔ ہم نے مل کر درخت لگائے اور فطرت کے ساتھ گہرا تعلق استوار کیا، نوجوان ذہنوں کو ہمارے سیارے کے محافظ بننے کی ترغیب دی۔
اس تقریب میں محترم چیف کنزرویٹر آف فاریسٹس، مسٹر کیفایت اللہ بلوچ نے شرکت کی، جنہوں نے ہمارے مستقبل کے نوجوان سفیروں کے ساتھ انمول بصیرت شیئر کی۔ لوئر ہزارہ کے کنزرویٹر آف فاریسٹس مسٹر فرہاد علی نے انہیں موسمیاتی تبدیلی کے فوری چیلنجز سے نمٹنے کے لیے آگے بڑھنے کا راستہ دکھایا اور ماحولیاتی کمزوریوں کے خلاف مزاحمت پیدا کرنے میں اجتماعی عمل کی اہمیت پر زور دیا۔ سید طارق شاہ، پرنسپل کے پی فاریسٹ سکول تھائی نے شرکاء کو خوش آمدید کہا۔

ہم مل کر امید کے بیج بو رہے ہیں، جنگلات کو پروان چڑھا رہے ہیں، اور آنے والی نسلوں کے لیے ماحولیاتی تحفظ کی میراث کو فروغ دے رہے ہیں۔

Galies Forest Division Abbottabad, in collaboration with the esteemed Judges of the Peshawar High Court Abbottabad Branch, launched a tree planting campaign at Judges Colony Abbottabad today. The Registrar Peshawar High Court Abbottabad Branch kicked off the drive by planting a beautiful apple tree. Let's grow together!

Sardar Farhad Ali assumed additional charge of CF Upper Hazara Forest Circle Mansehra.

Today on 25/2/2025, Galies Forest Division Abbottabad, in a collaborative effort with the District Administration, TMA, and WASSCA Abbottabad, launched a spring tree planting drive at Shimla Hill Park. Inaugurated by Mr. Taimoor Ilyas, Divisional Forest Officer Galies Forest Division, and Mr. Zarak Yar Khan Toru, Assistant Commissioner Abbottabad, the drive saw the symbolic planting of Apple and Apricot saplings. Further participation from the TMO Abbottabad and CEO WASSCA ensured the successful planting of a diverse range of fruit and forest trees. In total, 300 plants were introduced to the park, aiming to enhance the green cover and promote environmental sustainability in the region.

A dignified farewell ceremony was held at the residence of CCF NFR-II to pay tribute to Conservator of Forests Upper Hazara, Mr. Farrukh Sair, who retired after nearly four decades of dedicated service. The evening was attended by esteemed forest officers and staff, who honored the retiring officer with respect and kind wishes. The atmosphere was filled with emotion and profundity. A lavish dinner was also served to the distinguished guests.
The Chief Conservator of Forests CSFR Peshawar, Chief Conservator Forests NFR-II, Principal KP Forests School Thai, and retired Forest Officers graced the occasion with their presence, delivering a poignant speech on the Forest department's legacy and its 38-year tradition of excellence. He extended warm felicitations and good wishes to the departing officer.

On 23rd February 2025, Mr. Omar Ayub Khan, the Leader of Opposition in National Assembly formally inaugurated the Spring Plantation Campaign by planting a Plant in the premises of Govt Higher Secondary School (GHHS) Barkot, Makhnial. This initiative, spearheaded by Haripur Forest Division.

The other key dignitaries are former Minister Mr. Yousaf Ayub Khan, Local Government Minister Arshad Ayub Khan, DFO Haripur and the Principal GHHS Barkot, Makhnial, emphasizing the power of collaboration for a greener future.

This campaign highlights local leaders and forest department commitment to conservation and climate awareness.

On February 21, 2025, Spring Plantation Event organized at Sheikhwal Lassan Nawab by Agror Tanawal Forest Division, Mansehra. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from very vibrant community, showcasing their deep-rooted commitment to environmental conservation. The Plantation Event was planned and organized by the Director 10 BTTP in coordination with officers of Agror Tanawal.

The occasion was honored by the presence of Mr. Farhad Ali, Conservator of Forests, Lower Hazara alongside Mr. Amanullah Khan, DFO Agror Tanawal and SDFO Shergarh.

500 fruit-bearing plants planted, marking a significant step toward ecological sustainability and enhancing the region's green cover. Mr. Farhad Ali lauded the community's unwavering dedication to afforestation and environmental stewardship. He also delivered an insightful briefing on the critical role of forestry in combating climate change, preserving biodiversity and securing sustainable future.

The knowledgeable and engaged community members greatly appreciated Mr. Farhad Ali's expert guidance and strategic vision for forest conservation. His valuable recommendations left a lasting impression, further strengthening the collective resolve to protect and nurture the environment.

Spring Plantation Drive at Central Jail Haripur

On 21st February 2025, Spring Plantation event organized at Central Jail Haripur, led by Divisional Forest Officer Haripur in collaboration with prison authorities. The event emphasized the importance of afforestation and environmental sustainability within institutional spaces.

The plantation drive was graced by Madam Fouzia Taj, Commandant Prisons Staff Training Academy (PSTA) Haripur, Mr. Usman Javed, Deputy Commandant PSTA, Mr. Sheryar, Assistant Commissioner along with Sub-Divisional Forest Officer Haripur and Madam Noureen, Community Development Officer Female, Lower Hazara.

Participants planted a variety of indigenous tree species, reaffirming their commitment to a greener and healthier future.
