Due to the change of the Government in Punjab and as the Chief Minister Punjab is also the Chairperson of Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab, I being a appointee find it inappropriate to continue as Chairperson District Overseas Pakistanis Commission Attock and have already sent my resignation to the Vice Chairperson OPC.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the serving and previous Deputy Commissioner Attock, ADC Revenue, DPO Attock Police, Assistant Commissioners, Revenue, Police and DC Office Officials District Information Office Attock for their support and help to resolve the complaints received by our commission.
I feel pride to state that am leaving the Commission in a better position than when I took over, I tried to work with utmost honesty and dedication maintaining an almost 100% attendance over past 3 years. Despite issues and difficulties faced we resolved hundreds of cases, some very old ones involving land issues worth millions of rupees, we made the commission visible to Overseas Pakistanis by being active on Facebook and Twitter whilst trying to be available 24/7 to our complainants.
I wish my successor every success to resolve the issues and complaints of ’s beloved efficiently and effectively.
