🌿 Mental Health Awareness Session 🌿at Government Polytechnic Institute Gilgit A highly interactive and insightful session on “Mental Health: Awareness, Importance & Counselling” at COE(GPI) Gilgit. The session was led by Ms. Ayat, Psychologist and Counsellor, who conducted multiple sessions and shared his expertise on the significance of mental well being, stress management, the need to overcome stigma and the importance of career snd health counselling in personal and professional life. The event brought together 120 participants including students and faculty who actively engaged in discussions and gained valuable guidance on maintaining a healthy mind. Special appreciation goes to the Travel & Tourism Management Trade for their excellent management and coordination of this meaningful activity.

Today, the Rescue 1122 Gilgit instructors, Mr. Arif Kareem and Engineer Waqar, visited Government Vocational and Technical Training Centre (GVTTC) Gilgit on our special invitation. They conducted a valuable session on first aid, basic rescue techniques, and handling emergency situations for the students of the Travel and Tourism Management program. These topics are an integral part of the curriculum and will greatly support our students in their professional roles as well as in serving the community.
The session was highly informative and beneficial. GVTTC Gilgit extends its sincere gratitude to Mr. Syed Tahir Shah, Mr. Arif Kareem, and Engineer Waqar, as well as special thanks to the entire Rescue 1122 Gilgit team and department for sparing time from their busy emergency services to train and guide our students.

Motivational Session at GVTTC (CoE) Gilgit – NAVTTC Batch 1
Mr. Abdul Amin, Educational Psychologist and PhD Scholar from Shaanxi Normal University, Xi’an, China, delivered an inspiring session for all trades of the NAVTTC Cluster Based Program (Batch 1) at GVTTC (CoE), Gilgit, covering key topics like controlling emotions, overcoming fear, building confidence, attitude, self-leadership, and responsibility.

Students and staff gained valuable insights into emotional intelligence, leadership, and personal growth.

Principal Syed Shabiul Hassan concluded the session and extended his heartfelt thanks to Mr. Amin and decided to dedicate daily one hour for combined Class during the last hour of morning and first hour of evening classes, focused on motivation, communication skills, life lessons, and ethics to support students’ holistic development alongside technical training.

Asif Ali, a graduate of GVTTC Gilgit (Centre of Excellence), has secured a position as a Supervisor in Qatar with an attractive salary package.
