We are pleased and excited to congratulate Ms Iram Shaista Khan on her selection to participate in the International Training Course on Climate Action for Sustainable Built Heritage Conservation and Management 2024. This prestigious course is offered by ICCROM in collaboration with the Nantucket Historical Association and Integrated Conservation Resources Inc. Ms. Khan has been with Ciqam-Green Solutions, where she served as a project coordinator for a year and currently advises on climate action in conservation and management. An expert in her field, Ms. Khan holds a master’s degree in Environmental Protection and Management from the University of Edinburgh.
In her recent report for ICCROM, Ms. Iram focuses on integrating climate action into heritage sites restored and managed by the Aga Khan Cultural Services in Pakistan, especially in Gilgit Baltistan.

I feel privilege to share such a great write up, articulated by Mr. Christoff plassis. He is one of the master technician of wood Mizer sawmill. Few months ago he has visited Hunza all the way from South Africa to install the Mizer Mahcine at Ciqam. He was inspired by Ciqam team, and he had worked with us for a week or more. During that period he observed our dedicated Ciqam team specially the woman carpenters. However, he dedicated this comprehensive article to Ciqam women on the spacial day of 8th March International Women's day.
