*Polio Booster Campaign, August 2026 – Hyderabad*

*Date: 28‑08‑2026*

The District ERM – Day 08 for the Polio Booster Campaign (August 2026) was convened at the Committee Hall DC Office Hyderabad, chaired by the Worthy Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Mr. Zain‑ul‑Abideen, and Co-chaired by the Respected PEOC Coordinator Dr. Shehriyar Gul Memon & the District Health Officer Hyderabad Dr. Pir Ghulam Hussain , Regional Monitoring Officer Private institutions Hyderabad region HYDERBAD Mr Abdul Jabbar D

The meeting was attended by the NEOC Monitor, PEOC Monitors, NSTOP Officer, DPOs WHO Hyderabad, CCO Hyderabad, DHMT, Education Department Focal Persons, and TMOs.

*Key Discussion Points*

*Targets vs Coverage*

- A comprehensive review of performance from Day 0–7 was presented, identifying coverage gaps and areas requiring strengthened field oversight. Data regarding Refusal Schools and Madrassas was also examined.

*Monitoring Observations* —

- All monitors shared field observations related to team performance, tally sheet filling, and compliance with operational SOPs. All observation were discussed in details to improve overall performance of teams.

*Data Management*
- The DHO Hyd directed also TMC FPs to review coverage data properly before sharing for uploading on dashboard.

*Engagement of TMOs* —

- The Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad instructed all TMOs to ensure active engagement of support teams to improve House‑to‑House coverage, as well as coverage in any schools and madrassas found open on weekend days.

*Coverage of Still Missed Children* —

- UCMOs , AiCs in support with TMOs are directed to ensure vaccination of all still missed children.

*Recommendations* — -

- Actionable recommendations were shared to enhance operational quality based on monitoring findings. Strategies for covering remaining schools and madrassas were finalized

*Message by PEOC Coordinator*

After going through detailed discussion The Worthy PEOC Coordinator Dr. Shehriyar Gul SB appreciated campaign planning and coverages of Hyderabad teams reflecting their dedication and hardwork. He also advised to properly approach household and vaccinate remaining children with polio Booster dose.
