*Katpara Desert * katpara Desert also known as the Cold Desert, lies at an attitude of 2,225 meters (7,303) feet near Sikardu city. It has some of the highest sand dunes in the world which forms folds of ochre, exhibiting an everlasting autumn all year round. In these xeric conditions the same dunes also host snow capped peaks in the freezing temperatures of the winter months . It is a miraculous display of the earth, s nature elements at complete harmony with one another.

It falls on the journey towards the world, s highest mountains such as K2 and Nanga Parbat. On the way to Sikardu you will find astonishing sights, such as a glorious waterfall that miraculously gushes out from the jagged edge of a hill and casades down a craggy cavity to join the Indus River.
