Electrical Safety Awareness

NEPRA has published a safety flyer with safety advisory aimed to raise awareness and prevent future accidents in the country. The flyer, which highlights the most significant hazards across Pakistan, is available on the NEPRA website under the HSE page.
Network owners such as organizations, distribution companies, cantonment boards, municipalities, local governments and residential societies, colonies & townships, that own distribution and lighting poles/structures are encouraged to discuss this flyer during their meetings, talks, and other communication forums, and implement the relevant Safety Advisory accordingly as outlined in the flyer.

This application aims to provide Pakistan’s electricity consumers with an easy and convenient way to register and track the status of their urgent nature of complaints through their mobile phones.

NEPRA has released two Incident Alerts, now available on the NEPRA website under the HSE page. These alerts contain a brief summary of the incidents, the findings, and the key focus areas along with the lessons learned.

We strongly encourage all companies in Power Sector to review and discuss these alerts during Safety Meetings, Safety Talks, and other safety communication forums, and implement the relevant recommendations based on the lessons learned.
