یہ اپنا حصہ روشنی کا دے جائے۔

اک قطرۂ خون، مگر کتنی تاثیر
بن جائے کسی کی زندگی کی تقدیر،
اس لمحے میں دلوں کا ہوتا ہے ملاپ،
اور لوٹ آتی ہے سانسوں میں پھر سے تاب۔

نہ شہرت کی چاہ، نہ نام کی طلب
نہ کوئی صلہ، نہ کوئی مطلب،
ان کی پہچان ہے دھڑکنوں میں چھپی،
دوسری زندگی کی خوشی میں بسی۔

بہادری چھپی ہے چھوٹے کاموں میں
دوسروں کے لیے جینے کے ارمانوں میں،
ہر ڈونر میں اک روشنی سی ہے،
جو انسانیت کی اصل کہانی ہے۔

سلام ان سب کو جو دیتے ہیں ساتھ
بنا دیتے ہیں آسان زندگی کی بات
تمہاری قربانی، تمہاری مہربانی—
ہے انسانیت کی سب سے بڑی نشانی۔
