پاکستان میں مرکزی فلم سینسر بورڈ کے سربراہ اب تک مرد ہی رہے ہیں لیکن حال ہی میں پاکستان کی تاریخ میں پہلی مرتبہ ایک خاتون رئیسہ عادل کو سربراہ بنایا گیا ہے۔ ہماری نمائندہ کوکب جہاں نے رئیسہ عادل سے ان کے عہدے کی ذمہ داریوں اور ایک خاتون کے نقطہ نگاہ سے سینسر بورڈ میں تبدیلیوں کے بارے میں بات چیت کی۔

The CBFC in Pakistan is headed by a Chairman and is comprised of a number of members appointed by the Federal Government. The members of the board include representatives from the film industry, legal experts, and members of civil society. They work together to ensure that films and other audio-visual content released in the country meet the standards set by the board.

The Central Board of Film Censors (CBFC), commonly known as the Central Board of Film Censorship, is a statutory body responsible for regulating the public exhibition of films in Pakistan. Established in 1963 under the Cinematograph Act, the CBFC's primary function is to ensure that films screened in Pakistan do not contain material deemed offensive, immoral, or against the interests of the sovereignty and integrity of the nation.
