A Drop of Hope, A Lifeline for Many

A group of dedicated blood donors from SKY 47 Limited visited the Regional Blood Donation Centre of the Pakistan Red Crescent Society to donate blood, contributing to a lifesaving mission and supporting patients in need.

خاندانی روابط کی بحالی
مشکل کی گھڑی میں اُمید کی کرن

باجوڑ میں داخلی صورتحال کے باعث متعدد گھرانوں کے پیارے ایک دوسرے سے بچھڑے ہوتے ہیں۔ بہت سے خاندان اِس المیہ سے دو چار نظر آتے ہیں۔ ایسے متاثرہ گھرانوں کی مدد کیلئے ہلالِ احمر پاکستان آئی سی آرسی کے تعاون سے ”خاندانی روابط کی بحالی“ کیلئے سیشنز کا انعقاد کرتا ہے۔ جہاں اِن خاندانوں کو اُمید اور یقین کی راہ دِکھائی جاتی ہے۔اپنے پیاروں سے رابطہ رکھنے، مفت خدمات کے حصول اور صورتحال کا حوصلہ مندی کے ساتھ مقابلہ کرنے کے بارے بتایا جاتا ہے۔
”خاندانی روابط کی بحالی“ (Restoring Family Links) صرف ایک خدمت نہیں بلکہ مشکل وقت میں امید، یقین اور انسانی وقار کی بحالی کی علامت ہے۔ ہلالِ احمر پاکستان اسی جذبے کے ساتھ آگاہی اور انسانیت کی روشنی بانٹ رہا ہے۔

PRCS Managing Body Members Call on Honorable Chairperson PRCS Mrs. Farzhana Naek

The Managing Body members, Chaudhry Ejaz Yousaf, former Chief Justice of the Federal Shariat Court, Sardar Qasim Farooq Ali, Senior Advocate Supreme Court, and Senator Samina Mumtaz Zehri, called on Honorable Chairperson PRCS, Mrs. Farzhana Naek, at PRCS National Headquarters.

During the meeting, the distinguished members appreciated the visionary leadership and dynamic initiatives of Chairperson Mrs. Farzhana Naek in making PRCS a more dynamic, vibrant, and impactful National Society. Compassion Where It Matters Most

The Pakistan Red Crescent Society is reaching vulnerable communities in Landikotal, near the Pak-Afghan border, with humanitarian support aimed at easing hardship and restoring dignity.

From essential health services and hygiene awareness to psychosocial support and other humanitarian assistance, these efforts are helping families cope with daily challenges and build resilience in the face of uncertainty.

Led by PRCS National Headquarters, implemented by PRCS Merged Areas Branch and carried out in collaboration with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, this support reflects PRCS’s continued commitment to stand with communities in need through care, compassion and humanity.

From Awareness to Action: Building Safer Communities Together

In connection with Risk Awareness and Promotion of Safer Behavior Day, observed globally on 4 April every year, the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) organized a seminar at its National Headquarters in Islamabad to strengthen stakeholder engagement for safer communities. The event brought together humanitarian partners, government representatives, civil defence officials, relief organizations, Movement partners, provincial RASB teams, PRCS staff, and volunteers to reinforce collective action in addressing the risks posed by explosive hazards.

Honorable Chairperson PRCS Mrs. Farzhana Naek highlighted the humanitarian impact of explosive hazards and reaffirmed PRCS’s commitment to equipping vulnerable communities with life-saving knowledge through its Risk Awareness and Safer Behavior (RASB) Program. She emphasized that stronger collaboration, community ownership, and sustained engagement are essential to ensuring that safety messages reach those most at risk. Head of Delegation ICRC in Pakistan Mr. Christoph Sutter, Secretary General PRCS Mr. Muhammad Abiadullah Khan, and CEO SPADO Mr. Raza Shah Khan also addressed the participants and stressed the importance of partnerships, preparedness, and shared responsibility in protecting lives.

The event also featured a presentation on explosive hazards by Mr. Qazi Inayat, a documentary screening, and a meaningful stage performance by PRCS volunteers reflecting the event theme. The seminar concluded with shield distribution, recognizing the support and contributions of partners and participants in advancing awareness, resilience, and safer behavior across communities.

A Lifesaving Gesture of Humanity ❤️🩸

In a powerful display of solidarity and compassion, Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in collaboration with Turkish Red Crescent (Turk Kızılay) organised a blood donation drive at the Embassy of Türkiye in Islamabad. His Excellency Dr. Irfan Neziroğlu, Ambassador of Türkiye to Pakistan, along with diplomats and embassy staff, actively participated in the drive, reinforcing the spirit of humanitarian partnership and service.

The initiative was attended by Honorable Chairperson PRCS, Mrs. Farzhana Naek, TRCS Head of Delegation in Pakistan, Ms. Beyza Taner, and PRCS and TRCS teams. The occasion highlighted the importance of voluntary blood donation as a lifesaving act that offers hope to patients in critical need and reflects our shared responsibility to support humanity.

Together, PRCS and Türk Kızılay continue to strengthen a bond rooted in compassion, cooperation, and commitment to saving lives.

PRCS and ICRC Reaffirm Commitment to Humanitarian Action

Head of Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Pakistan, Mr. Christoph Sutter, held a meeting today with Honorable Chairperson Pakistan Red Crescent Society Mrs. Farzhana Naek at PRCS National Headquarters.

The discussion highlighted PRCS’s humanitarian footprint across Pakistan and underscored the importance of engaging local stakeholders and strengthening district level capacities to further enhance community based response.

Both sides also discussed the dignified management of the deceased during emergencies and conflict situations, reaffirming a shared commitment to humanity, preparedness and respect for human dignity in all circumstances.

Strengthening Partnerships for Greater Humanitarian Impact

Warmth and Dignity for Displaced Families in Tirah

The Pakistan Red Crescent Society distributed 300 winterization kits among internally displaced families in Tirah, Bara, District Khyber, helping vulnerable households stay protected during the cold season.

Led by PRCS National Headquarters in collaboration with the Norwegian Red Cross, Canadian Red Cross and facilitated by PRCS Merged Areas, the distribution was carried out to support displaced families with essential winter items. Assistant Commissioner Khyber Mr. Talha also participated in the activity.

Through continued humanitarian support and strong collaboration, PRCS remains committed to standing with affected communities and ensuring essential relief reaches those who need it most with dignity, compassion and care.
