The Acting Federal Minister of National Heritage & Culture Mr. Syed Jamal Shah Inaugurated the Art Exhibition at Junaid Zaidi Library of COMSATS University Islamabad.

Junaid Zaidi Library arranged an Information Literacy session for its newly inducted students in the MS (English) Department. The purpose of this session was to educate the students about the library resources, services, and facilities and to make them realize how they can better use these resources in their pedagogical activities. Mr. Arslan Sheikh was the resource person for the session. The session ended with a question-and-answer discussion with students and hands-on practice on the computer workstations to use the HEC Digital Library.

The Junaid Zaidi Library warmly welcomes its newly enrolled students at the CUI Islamabad campus. In this regard, the library conducted orientation sessions for its newly inducted students on the Orientation Day, held on September 3, 2023. The purpose of these sessions was to educate the students about the library's resources, services, and facilities, along with the rules and regulations. A large number of students enthusiastically attended these library orientation sessions.

A Delegation of Professors from Libya, Maldives, and Uganda visited the Junaid Zaidi Library on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. The Senior Librarian welcomed and briefed the guests about the infrastructure, facilities, and services of the JZL.

Some clicks of the Book Exhibition arranged by the Junaid Zaidi Library, in CUI on Tuesday-Wednesday, March 7-8, 2023. Dr. Muhammad Tabassum Afzal, Rector CUI, inaugurated the event. A good number of students, faculty and staff members attended the exhibition.

Junaid Zaidi Library is organizing a Book Exhibition on Tuesday-Wednesday, March 7-8, 2023, in front Lawn of the Electrical and Computer Engineering, E&CE department.
The inauguration ceremony will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, and after this, the stalls of well-known booksellers/vendors will be open for faculty, staff, and students.
Through this exhibition, the faculty, students, and staff will have the opportunity to select/suggest/recommend books for the Library and to purchase books at discounted prices.
All Faculty, staff, and students are cordially invited to attend the Exhibition.
