Incompetence of Islamabad Zoo mangt & designated wild life board already killed lion, lioness, ostricth, neel gaye, zebra many more animals. All deaths were kept secrete from media. According to reports animals are dying due to mismanagement, lack of expertise in Capturing/Transportation & wrong dosages of anesthesia.

FYI: Last week several animals got badly injuried during relocation of Deers, hurial, neel gaye, hog deers, Zebra)

You can see in the attached video how cruel incompetent staff killed lion by putting FIRE inside the enclosure. This is not the way to capture wild lion in captivity. Cruel inhumane methods are being used by zoo staff. End-up killing several animals.

Court ordered to relocate all 800+ birds and animals to wildlife sanctuaries. court ordered to send Kaavan the Elephant to Cambodian sanctuary.
Request to Islamabad high court (justice Athar Minilah) to take immediate action. save remaining animals from cruel zoo staff.

Islamabad high court strictly orderd to the minister incharge of ministry of climate change and members of board shall be jointly and severally liable for the welfare and wellbeing of each animal till their relocation to their respective sanctuaries)

IV. The chairman of the board of wildlife management (Islamabad Wildlife Management Board - IWMB), constituted under the wildlife ordinance of 1979 will forthwith make arrangements , to relocate kaavan the elephant to a suitable sanctuary.
V. The board constituted under the wildlife ordinance of 1979 shall relocate ALL the remaining ANIMALS to their respective sanctuaries.

Petition against CDA-MCI Dog shooting squad by Faryal Haque Nawaz is accepted by high court. As per orders dog shooting will be stopped immediately. until board will prepare new policy and mechanism regarding stray/homeless dogs. Formulation of new policies will be according to Islamic teaching regarding treating animals in humane manner.

This order is in continuation of the case we won for Kaavan the Elephant & just one of the many aspects regarding animal welfare that we have fought against and won.
