Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) proudly inaugurated “ZAMO’S”, a solo exhibition by emerging visual artist Zamar Shahid at National Art Gallery, Islamabad. The exhibition was inaugurated by Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, accompanied by DG PNCA Muhammad Ayoub Jamali.

The exhibition presents a captivating collection of artworks exploring tradition, innovation, and cultural identity. Originally from Balochistan, Zamar Shahid is known for blending classical miniature painting with contemporary techniques including canvas floral, tear and fire, and engineering painting. Her intricate gold-leaf miniature depictions of world mosques especially drew admiration from visitors.

The Chief Guest appreciated the artist’s creative vision and reaffirmed PNCA’s commitment to supporting emerging talent and promoting Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage through art.

The exhibition will continue till 14 May 2026 at PNCA, Islamabad.

Pakistan National Council of the Arts Islamabad in collaboration with National College of Arts Rawalpindi has organized colourful and vibrant events engaging students and children on 7th May, 2026 at National Puppet Theatre Hall Rawalpindi to commemorate one year of Marka-e-Haq 2025.

Students of NCA through their paintings paid tribute to the brave soldiers and nation who defeated Indian hostilities, destroyed their operation sandoor with our operation
"Bunyan -al- Marsoos". Pakistan Air Force shot down their 6 Rafales , the event which compelled the world to declare Pakistan Air Force as the "Undisputed kings of the Skies" on May 10, 2025.

Students also delivered speeches and sung songs to pay tribute to our courageous Pak Army and nation who stood side by side whenever enemy tried to attack on our homeland.

National Puppet Theatre of PNCA presented cultural dances and folk stories in the puppet show to promote our national and cultural strength.

The event to mark solidarity with our Pakistan Army, to show resilience and national strength was concluded with instrumental performances on dhol and violin by child singers.

Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) successfully organized Media Workshop 2026 under the banner of “Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos” as part of the one-year commemorative activities of Marka-e-Haq in Islamabad. The workshop brought together leading journalists, media experts, students, and young professionals to discuss responsible journalism, digital media, narrative building, and contemporary media trends.
Distinguished speakers including Farkhanda Shamim, Zulfiqar Baig, Shakeel Ahmed Awan, and Azher Hafeez emphasized the importance of fact-based reporting, national unity, and the constructive role of media in promoting Pakistan’s positive image globally.
Parliamentary Secretary for National Heritage and Culture Farah Naz Akbar attended as Chief Guest and appreciated PNCA’s efforts in empowering youth through professional and awareness-driven initiatives.
At the conclusion, certificates were distributed among participants.

PNCA inaugurated the art exhibition Azm-e-Marsoos Young Artists Commemorate One Year of Marka-e-Haq today at the National Art Gallery in Islamabad. The ceremony was led by Chief Guest Lt. Gen. R. Humayun Bangash together with Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Aurangzeb Khan Khichi and Director General PNCA M. Ayoub Jamali. A notable highlight of the event was the extensive participation of officers and representatives from ISPR who joined a diverse gathering of artists and students to honor the themes of national resilience. The artworks on display reflect the deep bond between the nation and its defenders through the creative vision of Pakistans youth. The exhibition will remain open to the public until May 14 2026 though the galleries stay closed on Fridays and Saturdays.
