The foreign delegates visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the invitation of the Foreign Secretary, Amb. Amna Baloch, where they were given an overview of the Ministry’s key divisions and functions.
The Foreign Secretary warmly welcomed the delegates and sought their feedback on the training at the Foreign Service Academy. The delegates shared their highly positive experience and expressed appreciation for the excellent training, while lauding the warm hospitality extended by the Government and people of Pakistan.

Planting more than just trees!
Our foreign delegates, together with their buddy officers from the Foreign Service Academy, planted saplings at the Academy-symbolizing friendship, trust, and shared growth. Each delegate is paired with a dedicated buddy officer who ensures their comfort, provides guidance, and helps them feel truly at home in Pakistan.
This simple yet meaningful activity reflected the spirit of bonding, care, and people-to-people connections that lie at the heart of diplomacy.

The Foreign Service Academy was honored to host H.E. the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Reza Amiri-Moghaddam, as part of our Meet the Envoy series.
His Excellency delivered an insightful presentation on Iran’s foreign policy and highlighted the warm and close relations between Iran and Pakistan. The session also featured an engaging Q&A interaction with our trainee officers, allowing for a meaningful exchange of views and perspectives.
To commemorate the visit, a tree was jointly planted, symbolizing friendship, cooperation, and a shared commitment to sustainability.

As part of the Foreigners’ Diplomatic Course, the foreign delegates visited Kartarpur Sahib to learn about Pakistan’s rich Sikh heritage and the ongoing efforts to preserve and further develop this sacred site for the global Sikh community.
The visit included prayers at the Gurdwara and participation in langar, reflecting the true spirit of humility, equality, and service. The experience highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to religious harmony, mutual respect, and its proud tradition of cultural and faith diversity. 🇵🇰🕊️

Diplomats in the Kitchen at the Foreign Service Academy!
Our foreign delegates rolled up their sleeves and joined Pakistani trainee officers for a lively session of culinary diplomacy. Together, they learned how to cook traditional chicken qorma and even mastered the art of making perfectly round rotis!
The kitchen was filled with laughter, friendly banter, delicious aromas, and lots of teamwork — a true celebration of cultural exchange.
To top off the fun, the day concluded with a friendly and spirited Pakistan vs. International cricket match 🏏😄
A memorable experience that showcased diplomacy far beyond the classroom!

As part of our Meet the Envoy series, we were honored to host the Ambassador of Nepal, H.E Rita Dhital, who delivered powerful insights on Nepal's foreign policy as well as the importance of regional cooperation, reaffirming that “there can be no alternative to SAARC.”
She also highlighted the strong synergies between Pakistan and Nepal, inspiring our trainee officers with her vision for a more connected South Asia.
To mark the occasion, a commemorative tree was jointly planted symbolizing friendship and shared aspirations.

Foreign Service Academy held the Passing Out Ceremony of the 29th Advanced Diplomatic Course on March 17, 2023. A group of 11 diplomats from 9 friendly countries attended the course.

To highlight diverse aspects of MOFA, FSA organized orientation visit of students of NUML on 16 March 2023. A panel of distinguished officers briefed students on Pakistan´s foreign policy, geo-political compulsions & opportunities. They highlighted the achievements of Pakistan´s diplomacy, policy implementation in the region & the world around.
Amb.Mazhar Javed, DG FSA, briefed students on functioning of MOFA, FSA & role of Pakistani diplomats in maintaining peace & stability in the region and beyond. Mr. Irfan Shaukat (Dir:Prog), Mr. Ilyas Nizami (DG:SA), Mr. Shahzad Dastigir (Dir:Afg) & Mr. Hassan Farrakh (AD:China/CPEC) provided comprehensive overview of Pakistan´s bilateral ties with neighbouring countries. The students engaged with officers in meaningful discussions & expressed appreciation for the dialogue.
