The way we have been pushed to the wall with all powers taken back by federal govt, MCI can no longer serve its dearest citizens. Better to quit if can’t help my people. I have resigned as Mayor Islamabad.

DMA, MCI conducted anti encroachment operation at Abbas Market F-6 and F-6 Markaz. Illegal encroachments removed from various points. Additional warnings given and Challans issued to concerned persons.

Today, inaugurated water filtration plant in collaboration with Saylani Welfare Trust at sector I-10.

Dear citizens, here are the rate lists of all available commodities at tomorrow's MCI Tuesday Bazar. MCI cares for people's rights of getting the daily life essentials at proper price. ✅🙏🇵🇰

Anti Dengue activity was carried out by DHS, MCI at sectors I-14 & F-7.
Activity included:
Checking & disinfection of several points. ✅
Collection of larva samples. ✅
Fumigation done. ✅
Awareness pamphlets distributed. ✅

Garbage clearance is in progress by MCI staff all over Islamabad. Every point is being cleared by staff using tractors and dumpers.

Horticulture work being done by MCI staff at Constitution Avenue globe chowk to Radio Chowk.
Wild and rain growth being cleared from several points.
Excessive growth patches being removed with long cutters and heavy machinery.

Work in progress by Parks Directorate East MCI at playland after slashing work followed by brush cutters, edging, pruning and removal of cut materials and grass by staff.
