The event, themed “Remember – Unite – Renew,” served as a powerful reminder of resilience, unity, and reconciliation, with dignitaries including Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani reaffirming Pakistan’s solidarity with Rwanda.

Reflecting on the spirit of Ndi Umunyarwanda, the gathering emphasized forgiveness, collective healing, and the importance of standing together against hatred and violence.

Islamabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries Holds Digital Compliance Gateway Consultation

Islamabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries, in collaboration with Freedom Gate Prosperity, organized a Digital Compliance Gateway consultation under the broader initiative to deliberate on practical reforms aimed at improving the regulatory environment for businesses.

Earlier, Muhammad Anwar, CEO of Freedom Gate Prosperity, welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of creating a market-friendly policy environment. He stated that complex procedures and fragmented regulatory requirements discourage entrepreneurship and investment. He further stressed that Freedom Gate Prosperity, in collaboration with institutional partners, is working to promote evidence-based reforms that reduce compliance barriers and support business growth.

Addressing the session, President Islamabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries, Muhammad Awais Satti, emphasized that traders and small industrialists continue to face unnecessary procedural hurdles. He noted that regulatory simplification, digital integration, and stronger public-private dialogue are essential to improve ease of doing business and expand the documented economy.

Vice President Islamabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries, Sardar Zaheer Ahmed, stated that facilitating small traders and simplifying compliance mechanisms is the need of the hour. He reaffirmed that the Islamabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries will continue to advocate for the business community at all relevant forums.

Executive Members of the Islamabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries — Waseem Ul Haq, Tahir Chand, Lal Chand, Asad Taimoor — and General Secretary Bushra Khan also attended the consultation and shared valuable input regarding the challenges faced by traders.

ICSTSI Signs MOU with Esthetic Clinic to Provide 20% Discounted Aesthetic Services to Members of ICSTSI

Islamabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries (ICSTSI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with aesthetic Clinic, Islamabad, to facilitate discounted aesthetic and skincare services for its registered members.

MOU was signed on behalf of aesthetic clinic by Dr. Hanfei.

Under the agreement, ICSTSI members will be entitled to receive a 20% discount on a wide range of aesthetic and cosmetic treatments offered by aesthetic Clinic. This initiative aims to promote health, skincare awareness, and wellness among the business community of Islamabad.

Services covered under the MOU include skin rejuvenation treatments, laser procedures, anti-aging solutions, cosmetic dermatology services, and facial therapies. Members will be required to present a valid ICSTSI membership card to avail of the discount.

MOU was signed on behalf of ICSTSI by Rizwan Siddiqui, Chairman Health Committee, ICSTSI, who expressed his commitment to introducing welfare-oriented initiatives for chamber members. He stated that the chamber remains dedicated to facilitating valuable partnerships that benefit small traders and industrialists.

Representatives of aesthetic Clinic also reaffirmed their commitment to providing professional, safe, and high-quality aesthetic services to ICSTSI members under the agreed terms.

Pakistan China Business Forum and ICSTSI Jointly Host Grand Chinese New Year Celebration with Chinese Delegation

Pakistan China Business Forum (PCBF) and the Islamabad Chamber of Small Traders & Small Industries (ICSTSI) jointly organized a grand celebration this evening on the occasion of Chinese New Year, which was attended by a distinguished Chinese delegation from China. Along with cultural festivities, important discussions were also held regarding business cooperation, bilateral trade, and mutual collaboration.

Ceremony was attended by President Muhammad Awais Satti and Vice President Sardar Zaheer Ahmed. The event was also joined by Executive Members Raheel Ahmed, Rao Muhammad Javed Akhtar, Altaf Gohar, Taimoor Abbasi (Lal Chand), and Zahid Iqbal, while Council Members Aqeel Abbasi and Imran Sukhera were also present.

Advisory Council Members Amjad Abbasi, Khurram, Rohail Butt, Sajid Iqbal, Malik Nadeem, and Rizwan Siddique also attended the ceremony and participated in the gathering.

Senior Leadership Islamabad, including Khursheed Ahmed Qureshi (President, All Pakistan Jamiat ul Quresh Meat Welfare Association), Mehboob Ahsan Malik, and Tahir Rashid, also attended the event and showed full support for strengthening Pakistan-China business relations.

Jamil Qureshi performed his duties as the Stage Secretary and actively participated in the interactive session with the Chinese delegation.

Representatives of the Pakistan China Business Forum (PCBF) were also present at the event, including Senator (R) Lt. General Qayyum (Chief Patron), Senator Bilal Ahmed Mandokhel (Patron), Sheikh Muhammad Nasir Ali (Chairman), Brigadier Sultan Satti, and Sheikh Ejaz Asghar, which further strengthened the platform for bilateral trade dialogue.

Presence of Farmer Group President Nadeem Malik also highlighted ICSTSI’s engagement with key stakeholders from the agriculture and trade sectors.

While addressing the gathering, President Muhammad Awais Satti warmly welcomed the Chinese delegation and emphasized the strong and historic relations between Pakistan and China. He said:

> “Pakistan is like a second home for China. Our relationship is not only based on trade but also on friendship, trust, and mutual respect. We are committed to expanding business opportunities, promoting innovation, and building a prosperous future together. ICSTSI will continue to support our small traders, industrialists, and agricultural stakeholders in exploring new avenues of cooperation with Chinese businesses.”

He further stressed the importance of collaboration in technology, manufacturing, and services, stating that joint efforts would benefit the communities of both countries.

Event concluded with cultural performances, interactive networking sessions, and the playing of the national anthems of Pakistan and China, which further strengthened the spirit of friendship and unity.

ICSTSI and PCBF officials expressed gratitude to the visiting Chinese delegation for their participation and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening Pakistan-China business relations and promoting mutual economic growth.
