*A STEP TOWARDS SMARTER WELFARE: PBM AND NITB COLLABORATE FOR A UNIFIED DIGITAL PLATFORM.*
Managing Director Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM), Senator Capt. Shaheen Khalid Butt, signs an MoU with Project Director National Information Technology Board (NITB) Mr. Faisal Mumtaz, under The Digital Economy Enhancement Project (DEEP) to advance digital integration and institutional collaboration. The partnership aims to create a unified digital platform that enhances access, transparency, and efficiency for the citizens and greater convenience for PBM beneficiaries through better coordination and data-driven decision-making. The signing ceremony was attended by PBM’s IT Director Mr. Kashif Nadeem along with the other senior officials representing both sides.

Director General (Projects) Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Visits Shelter Home Lahore, Hosts Iftar for Residents Lahore, March 1, 2026:
Director General (Projects) Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, Professor Dr. Zeeshan Danish, visited the Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Shelter Home, Lahore, on February 28, 2026, to review the facilities and services being provided to the public.
During the visit, the Director General (Projects) hosted an Iftar dinner at the Shelter Home, part of the ongoing arrangements made throughout the holy month of Ramzan to serve residents and deserving individuals. A large number of people attended the Iftar and appreciated the initiative.
The Director General (Projects) interacted with members of the public and sought their feedback regarding the quality of accommodation, meals, and other facilities available at the Shelter Home. He emphasized the importance of ensuring dignity, comfort, and care for all beneficiaries.
Dr. Zeeshan Danish also held a meeting with the staff, listened to their concerns, and assured them that their issues would be resolved on a priority basis to further improve service delivery.
