The final session of our Journal Club was conducted successfully, marking the end of an incredible 8-𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲.

We are truly proud of every member who showed up, participated, and remained committed throughout this experience.

The session began with an engaging discussion on our final week’s research paper, where participants demonstrated their analytical and presentation skills with confidence.🙌

We then moved towards a heartfelt 𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲, where we recognized and appreciated our top performer Asbaat Fatima and active participants Warda Mahmood , Hafiza Umm e kalsoom ,Maryam Shahbaz , Laraib Jehanzeb, Shreoshi Dhali Puja for their dedication and consistency.

This journey may have concluded, but the skills, discipline, and curiosity developed here will continue to grow.

Alhamdulillah, we successfully conducted our IELTS guidance session under Biotech Squad

The session featured Fatima and Mashal, who shared their personal journeys—how they prepared for IELTS, the strategies they used, and how they were able to achieve impressive band scores. Their insights were practical, honest, and highly valuable for aspiring test-takers.

We also shared useful resources within the group to further support participants in their preparation. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, where participants actively engaged and had their queries addressed.

A special appreciation to Umm e Kulsoom, who hosted and managed the entire session brilliantly. Her communication skills and management played a key role in making the session smooth and engaging.

Grateful for the enthusiasm and participation of everyone who joined. Looking forward to organizing more impactful sessions ahead.

Many biotechnology students plan to pursue higher studies abroad, but one common challenge they face is preparing for the 𝐈𝐄𝐋𝐓𝐒 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐦 and understanding how to approach it effectively.

To address this, Biotech Squad is organizing an 𝐈𝐄𝐋𝐓𝐒 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, where two 𝐛𝐢𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 will share their personal experience, preparation strategies, and practical tips.

Instead of generic advice, this session will focus on what actually worked for them during their preparation and test experience.

Last night, we officially bid farewell to our Cohort-II, Batch-I members, marking the end of an incredible 3-month journey.

The session was led by our 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 & 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝, Anas Khan, who walked everyone through the vision and mission that have guided us since day one. It was a moment of reflection. Looking back at how far we’ve come and what we’ve built together.

Over these 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬, we successfully delivered our flagship programs:

1) 𝐁𝐓𝐒 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 (6 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬)
2) 𝐁𝐓𝐒 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 (8 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬)

Both initiatives were designed to 𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓, 𝒆𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝒂𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒅𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒃𝒊𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒉; and seeing their impact has been truly fulfilling.

As CEO, I had the opportunity to interact with the team one last time, hearing their e𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬, 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. The session concluded with a heartfelt farewell and a final group picture, capturing not just faces, but a journey of learning, collaboration, and community.

Grateful for every member who contributed to making this cohort meaningful. This may be the end of one chapter, but it’s only the beginning of many more.These milestones are a direct reflection of the relentless efforts of our core team, along with our 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐬, 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐜 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 who carried our vision forward.

This session centered on 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲, where participants explored contemporary research and its relevance to agriculture, sustainability, and global food systems; while continuing to develop their capacity to critically engage with scientific literature.

𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐡𝐛𝐚𝐳 and 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐛 𝐉𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐳𝐞𝐛 led this week’s paper discussion with clarity and depth, fostering a thoughtful and interactive learning environment.

We also extend our appreciation to the 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬, whose consistent guidance and behind-the-scenes efforts continue to shape these sessions into a meaningful academic experience.

Biotech squad Journal club | week 3 & 4

We have successfully completed Week 3 & 4 of the Biotech Squad Journal Club.

During the previous phase, participants explored research articles in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, strengthening their ability to read and interpret scientific literature.

For the next two weeks, our focus will shift to Plant Biotechnology, where we will explore current research and emerging developments in the field.

A special appreciation to Asbaat, Sheroshi and warda for actively participating in this phase by presenting research papers and preparing detailed presentations.
